Wonderful character development!
Blucher
One of the worst movies I've ever seen
Tyreece Hulme
One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Sarita Rafferty
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

It is not very bad but not that good either. This movie is typical and predictable but it has some funny and witty lines, some good scenes and drama and it is overall a good watch to kill time. Alia cannot act but she is not that bad at least she is okay and does a decent act. The others are pretty wooden and typical but this movie would have been great without Arjun Kapoor who is sleep and drowsy and looks like he is in the verge of death. He does live till the climax but you may die of his terrible acting(or lack of it)and dialogue delivery. Apart from him the movie is worth a watch.

The representation lacks the attraction but based on truth. Every where I got missed thing that is no attraction due less attractive drama. Romance lacks truth of romance. Indian culture representation is truth. I didn't liked their Chemistry. The one thing I loved is Truth Representation of Indian Culture. Greatly represents Boyish thinking in Indian blood. On the whole they have everything in movie. But lacks way that could attractive.

why is Indian's people's dancing at every movies ? when they start dance i just like; 'okay i don't have to see it, shut the movie!' because when they start that dance every things just going missing, nothing prof with it. So i think we wont see funny dances in movies any way in love movies. why is my vote 4? my vote is four only for scenario, acting is normal not a big deal with acting in this movie, scenario original good i like scenario but dances destroyed it but its other point :Dabout acting the girl acting is normal as the boy do, you cant see great acting in this movie, only the boys dad is better i like him, he is good actor.i must talk more about dances in Indian's movies; they must stop it nothing good with it, i think its about be prof i hope one day they will leave the dances in movies, because thats is not musical movies its love! thats it, enjoy with movie.

Directed by Abhishek Verman based on Chetan Bhagat's book of the same name, the movie is a nice piece of work. It is one of the very few watchable" Bollywood releases of the year 2014. Though the movie has some potholes, it is a nice ride due to it's fantastic screenplay (kudos to Chetan) and the remarkable work done by its actors. The book was liked by many Indian readers as they can more or less relate to the story. The book and so the movie resonates with the life of an average Indian. But the later lacks the humor quotient present in the book. Changes done in the movie are not well formulated, as they become more offensive and weird for the audience. Krish's (Arjun Kapoor) outrage for his father is not well-built and seems a bit overdone. Also Ananya's (Alia Bhatt) ignorance towards Krish's efforts is tempestuous for the viewer. After pointing out the short-comings, it will be unjust to overlook some of the fantastic works of the movie. Songs are in the hit list, actors have done a good job. Arjun Kapoor, after doing so many the violent roles, switches to a decent romantic play. Alia Bhatt, a young beautiful newcomer, is always amazing to watch on screen. Ronit Roy's (Krish's father) performance grabs some more applauds for the movie. Keeping aside the ethical philosophy, the movie actuates the audience till the end. In the disruptive flow of Bollywood movies, this one registers itself as a "must-watch" movie, one of the very few of its kind for the Indian audience.
