mraculeated The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
morrigan1982 Girls go to a school that helps them prepare for collage exams. The girls that are attending the school didn't do well at the exams at the first place so they are all closed their studying and studying and studying and studying… Only the idea of being locked up in some place for so many days gives me the creeps… So in this school they are trying to make you better and help you get in to a collage. For a year you have no personal life, no free time no nothing; you only have time for studying. They are trying to turn you in to some kind of a robot. So creepy… and on top of that the school is haunted! It is an interesting and unsettling story without the ghosts. The ghosts seem to be unnecessary to the plot, but in the other hand is an interesting bonus. You could have two different stories in a way, but you have two in one! It's a nice story with interesting plot and pretty good characters. It also gives you the sense of no escape in a hall new interesting way. History tends to repeat itself. It's a circle which you can not escape!
Giedrius G i like Korea cinema, and this one let me say original Korea'n horror movie. I didn't very liked other 4 Horror Tales movies well except Forbidden Floor was not bad, but still this one i liked most of all 4 Films.Action goes on boarding-school in the beginning of school-year. arriving new girl's in new school where are very strictly rules and punishment's are sometimes violent.School collective seems a little strange. and the main warden got very cold face, girls starts finding out that before them there was a fire and now there is a ghost haunting the school. Its a ghost movie, but its made very nicely-realistic. its short and attention-grabbing.Maybe it's a little familiar with Whispering Coridorss. I recommend it to Korean horror fans. Check out my lists http://www.imdb.com/user/ur23690923/? ref_=nv_usr_prof_0
Billy_Crash What "D-Day" ("My Bloody Roommates") had in the first and second act, sadly fell apart in the final act. This Korean ghost story had a decent, if not slightly over-the-top premise, as well as some good characters to follow. Most of the story was psychological-based, which is perfectly fine, but the payoff was disappointing.Granted, the disappointment may not have been in how the story was written, but how those climactic scenes were shot. During that all important segment, the lighting crew must have been told to go on vacation. The scenes were so extremely dark, I could not follow the characters and could not see what was occurring.Because of this mistreatment of the material at story's end, I can only give the movie five stars.
baileyandflipper for youth in asia, especially east asia, this is a well-understood topic - counting down to SAT. Very good film, simple yet powerful. It reminds me of my high-school time, and my friends. Geeks, rebellions, averages and excellent girls. The four main actresses are all adorable. Their performance is very convincing. It's also great that they didn't try to make every girl perfectly beautiful, just natural. Some of the details are not making perfect sense, but ignorable. I believe the psychological transition of the leading girl could have been shown more. Also, there's not exactly a leading character here, maybe a good thing, coz all the girls are truly equally likable.
