The guardians are the only thing saving a small girl. They immediately encounter some minor setbacks, but nothing can prepare them for the hell that is in store for them in the underworld. The concept of 6 minutes of death is vaguely reminiscent of a scifi thriller you would see int he old twilight zones. But, in no way does 6 minutes of death try to impersonate the twilight zone . The script less film delivers plenty of scares and sees the film's leads in constant int he horror film genre, It's easy to identify with who the heroes and the villain is The film is taut and filled with suspense. The opening credits sets the tone of the movie. And, 6 minutes of death simultaneously delivers character development and suspense. It packs a big punch in to its short running time of 86 minutes.

So far, this movie is a stylish introduction of how film makers can be creative on a low budget. The looks of this movie give reason to bet it will throw a lot more in this new film era, and to hope for some other film makers to protest heavy ticket cost at theaters. When something tries to shock me consistently , I'm pretty much never shocked by anything, or scared by anything but this movie gave me the creeps. I'm usually just exhausted at the usual scenery in most horror films, stealing focus every time with the same shocks and been there done that, and I don't mean that as a negative. Put low budget creative and this is what gets you close to the terror.

6 minutes of death is not a bad movie. It's also not the best special effects movie ever made. It is definitely an interesting movie. On a budget of $5,000 USD The director seems to get pretty creative at times. I'd like to see better acting but since the story line is something ver original it gets high marks. Find a tone and stick to it. Somewhere in here is a really enjoyable low-budget 90-minute film.The directors name is Joe Ciminera www.joeciminera.com and he seems to have quite a bit of an imagination. This director is known for making low budget films that look good. His first splash was purification then Acedia, and now 6 minutes of death. Acedia was my favorite but could be beat by his newest film being released in the fall of 2014 called, "Venial". This movie immerses you in a disturbingly cryptic vision of the underworld unlike any you've seen before. First glimpse of this film may have you believe It's weird and non-traditional, but its also effective and scary and clearly the work of someone who knows their way around a spooky visual nightmare with less effects then needed to make you cringe. Acting is medico except for the rolls of the guardians which seem to lead.Roller coasters up and down make this a worth see
