Excellent but underrated film

Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

A Child's Play Story: Chucky's Revenge (2006) ** (out of 4) This five minute fan film has a man (Christopher Downie) being stalked by the one and only Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif). I'm not completely sure of the history of this movie but for the most part it isn't too bad. If you're a fan of the series then you'll probably get a couple nice chuckles out of this film. At just five minutes there's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but it's decent. The budget is so small that you obviously can't expect special effects like you'd see in a normal movie. The director had to be creative with Chucky's movements. There's no gore. No violence. There's really nothing overly special here but considering the budget and this was just made for fun, you really can't bash it too much.
