The greatest movie ever made..!
Gutsycurene
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Scotty Burke
It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

This is a very haunting film in which the idea or emotion of "love" actually plays the role of a character. There are three episodes, English, French and Italian, with each episode taking place during a different period in time. What is common to each episode is the character of "love" which gets passed from each episode to the next. Although my personal favorite episode is the "repressed love" of the South African one, with Juliet Aubrey and Ciaran Hinds, each episode is very moving and visually stunning, with a beautiful score that contributes to the mood and unity of the entire work. While such an undertaking as this movie could have resulted in a maudlin and sappy result, the director, Giacomo Campiotti, remained light on his feet throughout and injected the right amount of humor to make this film really soar. Special praise should go to Giuseppe D'Onghia for his music and to the female leads, Juliet Aubrey, Natacha Reigner and the adorable Natalia Piatti.
