AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Usamah Harvey The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Chismchick1 If you know the asylum then u know what they're about. I've seen MANY of their movies and I think this one is a good one. Go into their movies knowing what ur watching, it isn't a blockbuster, they're B movies. Some good, some bad, some awful and some just good fun and creative like sharknado and Znation. After having netflix for a few yrs, I've come to look forward to watching B movies. If I want something serious and scientifically accurate I'll look elsewhere. I won't waste my time nitpicking these movies. I'll just enjoy them for what they are..entertainment. Don't get me wrong though... There are some movies I have to turn off 2 minutes in cause dayum!!! lol
SEApdx I haven't seen a movie this bad in a long time, thank you! A perfect way to spend a night while a hurricane passes over. I still find it baffling that there are movies out there that prove that not even a basic level of simple research was performed before shooting. Either way, this definitely falls into the category of "so bad that you feel sorry for everyone involved but must laugh." The failure to even begin to accurately portray the military (BDUs in 2012, uniforms that exist nowhere in any military, a Captain calling a Lt "Colonel," upside down ranks, using radios backwards, etc) or aviation (a 2 aisle DC-9, missiles on Air Force One, 200 mile separation taking an hour to converge) or basic physics and sociology really, were just the funny parts. The direction and amateurish rapid fire cuts will actually kind of make you literally sick.Definitely recommend.
ericparent This movie has left me speechless. In only the first ten minutes, they had debris from a falling artificial satellite landing on earth (unless the satellite was the size of Texas, there'd be nothing left by the time it reached the atmosphere). The central (traffic) controller is giving takeoff clearance (?? not even the right organization/building, let alone the right controller). They had the central controller working for the FAA (lol!), according to the sign outside the tower. They had the Tracon controller working out of a tower (??, instead of a tracon building further away from the aerodrome). Etc. Etc. Etc. And that's just the first ten minutes. It gets even worse as it goes on! You'd figure that a movie who's plot completely revolves around airplanes, they could've at least hired a pilot as a tech. adviser to go over the script. Obviously the writers have no concept of aviation whatsoever, but you figure they would acknowledge that and hire a tech adv. I'm not a pilot or in the aviation industry in any way, shape, or form. However, as with most average people, I have a basic understanding of aviation.
marbleann OK this was not Airport. But it is not that bad. The beginning is pretty slow. But then the action picks up. Seems we have a ATC in Cleveland who predicted what was going to happen. Seems some new ATC system is being put in that will lessen the amount of mistakes ATC's make. Well I guess we can thank Ronnie Reagan for that. And it has started. They send the ACAP ( the system) by satellite but all of this space debris starts falling from space including the new doo dad ATC system ACAP. They look like fireballs. The ATC is requesting that all planes be grounded but no one listens. Air Force One is one of those planes. We now see fireballs coming from the sky destroying anything in its way. The ATC in Cleveland is working with a rookie. So we know what is gong to happens. The actor is Reginald ValJohnson who has been in numerous movies like this. The movie focuses on Air Force One and a passenger Plane. Turns out they are in direct collision with each other but neither knows because the ACAP is broken and all communications are down and the ACAP has rendered the pilots in Air Force One useless. They have to get these special numbers to over ride the system but the President has it and there is lasers all around the airplane to keep unauthorized people away. Of course this becomes a problem. The President has a daughter and his wife on the plane. The daughter has wandered off on a tour with the purser of the new plane. Fireballs are coming from the sky and the ATC is insisting all planes land. He is being nixed by some idiot who will not let the Presidents plane land. The ATC has a partner who has to get to a tower to communicate with the airplane and use the old system. I am not going to tell the rest of the movie. But it had me on the edge of my seat. All I require that a movie entertain me. And this one did. Take a look and forget about the budget.
