Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

Merolliv I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

boblipton Al St. John reworks the basic outline of FATTY AND MABEL ADRIFT and does nowhere nearly as well. While his uncle Roscoe Arbuckle was a good actor and co-starred with Mabel Normand, neither St. John nor his co-star are able to bring much chemistry to their acting, although she is appropriately cute.Instead of dealing with the issues of a sinking house as in the original, there is a long discursion under the sea involving man-eating fish and a bit of a race, as well as as a fight with a squid or octopus. The result is a decent although unremarkable remake. Stick with the original.
