Please don't spend money on this.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

As far as teenage comedies go, the American Pie movies always had been among the best. The first movies actually were genre redefining at its time. Now 7 years after this first movie 5th movie out of the series. It doesn't feature any of the original characters anymore, besides Mr. Levenstein, and it's the second one out of the 'American Pie Presents' movies, that basically don't feature any continuation with any of the previous movies. Nothing wrong with this but there is still an awful lot wrong with this movie. To be honest, I still sort of liked watching this movie during its first half, even though the movie was already an incredibly immature and simple one. But the movie turned absolutely horrible once the events surrounding 'the naked mile' kick in. How incredibly 'wrong' and simplistic, immature and not funny the movie gets around that point. I was seeing a lot of stuff that I just never want to witness again. You would think that one erection joke would be more than enough but they just can't stop with it and really crosses the line with some incredibly stupid and far from ever likely scenes.Of course all of the American Pie movies are basically being very immature once, since basically all that they are about is getting sex. But at least all of the previous films still had some likable characters in it and even some good writing, that made the movies some incredibly funny ones. This movie does not have one clever joke in it and everything seems either incredibly simple or insanely stupid beyond belief. They even managed to mess up Eugene Levy's role in this. He always was one of the highlights, in basically all of the other previous movies but his appearance in this seems to be shoe-horned in and feels very forced and out of place. He therefore isn't even a fun character in this one. Now, I can understand that there still is a right audience for this. I can see how some young teenagers find some of the events in this movie funny. And granted, there are really some funny moments and lines in this movie. But it still is a very 'wrong' movie, that is being incredibly immature and it's not even being very clever or creative with it. This movie is not halve as good as any of the previous movies and yes, I'm even counting in "American Pie Presents Band Camp".3/10http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/

I don't get it. The American Pie spinoffs are made for next to nothing, they get abysmal reception from fans of the original trilogy, but the legacy continues with more helpings of spoiled, unwanted pie. The sad thing is that actor Eugene Levy returns to these messes, when all he is doing is locking himself out of more respected work. It's a lose-lose for fans and Levy himself. Here we have American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile, the latest shallow sequel to the franchise. The plot is unappealing, much like the title of the film, featuring Erik Stifler (White), a cousin of Steve from the original films, is about to enter College a virgin. Being a "Stifler", that's a big deal. His girlfriend, Tracy (Schram), is nervous about having sex, as all the women are in this franchise. Frustrated with failure, following a recent incident, Erik is given a "guilt-free pass" from Tracy meaning he can go with his buddies to his cousin's college to partake in "The Naked Mile Run," join his cousin Dwight Stifler (Talley) and do anything sexual with any girl he wants. The Naked Mile fails at a lot of things, mainly characterization and humor. What it truly fails at explaining why the original Pie films were so good. They featured likable, respectable characters who actually learned something from their actions at the end of their films. They were the equivalent of a sitcom bunch, whose faces you never got tired of seeing. American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile thinks the whole thing is one big joke. All hope, wit, and any attempt at real fun was lost the second the title came into play. Using the word "naked" is a shameless attempt to market skin, and that's exactly what you get in The Naked Mile. Quite possibly more of it than any of the previous installments. It's gratuitous, ugly, and a very demeaning marketing approach by the writer and director.Idiocy reigns high in The Naked Mile, and that's no surprise. It's a poorly crafted work of direct-to-DVD shlock that seems to recycle characters from "The Movie Store" bargain bin, and stamps recognizable names on them to give us the false representation that we are watching a true American Pie film. The setups are labored, the jokes drab to the point of desperation, the skin redundant and utterly trying, and the characters unlikable and nihilistic. It surely amuses its target audiences who, technically, can't even see the film.Starring: Steve Talley, John White, Jessy Schram, Eugene Levy, Ross Thomas, and Angel Lewis. Directed by: Joe Nussbaum.

You're not expecting Shakespeare, right? Because you're not going to get it.No, what you're going to get is a film two thirds full of sexually oriented activity, some feasible, some improbable, some even quite likely, leavened with a small amount of quite sweet prevaricating over whether to or whether not to (leading to our virgin hero being given a free pass by his virgin girlfriend to a weekend of debauchery and surefire devirginisation "to get it out of his system." Yeah, right). The other third is taken up with a rather unsavoury subplot involving rivalry with an underhand, aggressive and downright unpleasant football team of midgets. Sorry, small people. This film is not Politically Correct. I may not need to point that out. This is not the stuff of culture. It's pretty lowbrow stuff. But then, the previous entries in the American Pie series (assuming that you checked out this movie having seen them) should have given you at least some idea what to expect. Some of it is amusing (hang on, I'm trying to think of an example...) There are some pretty girls who take their clothes off. Eugene Levy puts in an appearance and is head and shoulders the best thing in the film. Now he is funny!

Out of all this is the worst! Yeah....guys enjoys American pie series because, well....there is nudity and well because of the whole 'cool factor'. But there is nothing 'cool' in a bunch of people running around naked. This has no concrete story line. Plus in the other parts there is a definite story line and that's why people like the whole thing, but well this time they believe that the movie could sell on the basis of female frontal nudity alone. And the words 'masturbation' and 'grand parents' SHOULD be keep separately, way away from each other. This film is really sense less , and trying to look at the 'positive' side, the women aren't even that good looking. Really if someone really feels like watching this, then please don't.....go on the net there a whole lot out there, which by the way it's field is much better.
