Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

Beautiful, moving film.

Absolutely Fantastic

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

This film is incredibly offensive and insulting to gay men. This movie belongs in an adult video store, it really shouldn't even be considered a real feature film, it's honestly more of a porno. The amount of sex and nudity in the film is just MAJOR overload, and it just gets annoying. The acting is obviously horrendous, and the script is predictably bad. After watching films like Freeheld and Prayers for Bobby, it's clear that this is a blatant insult to the LGBT community. This film portrays gay men as sex obsessed pervs, and it's simply not true. Some people might just say whatever it's harmless comedy, but it's not, it's hurtful and absurd. Also, if they were going for laughs, then sorry they failed at that as well. There is not a single funny moment in this garbage fest. Were the guys in this film attractive? Yes! And that was nice and all, but their characters were ruined by all the nonstop pervertish sexual proclivities. I mean all the sweetness or potential heart in the movie was sucked out by the crudeness and nastiness. I did like 2 of the main characters in the film, but they too participated in really gross out nasty scenes that represented gays in a horrible way. Also this film is shot and filmed horribly, I mean seriously, even by the way it's shot it looks like a porno, it's just poor quality. This movie was just so poor in every facet, characters, writing, filming, representation of gay men, everything. 1/10 for another gay movie, it deserves nothing more.

This movie is gay comedic parody of films like Porkys and American Pie. The conceit is that four gay high school seniors are determined to lose their anal virginity before the summer's end. A major theme is figuring out who the bottoms are. This film is unapologetically and unrestrainedly a wild, over-the-top homosexual sex romp. Words to describe this movie: bawdy, blue, coarse, crude, dirty, filthy, foul, gross, indecent, lascivious, lewd, nasty, pornographic, profane, silly, raunchy, ribald, ridiculous, smutty, trashy, unrealistic, vulgar, wanton, and X-rated.This movie is also very funny. I was chuckling the entire time. No gross corner of gay sexuality is left unexplored. It's much dirtier than mainstream movies like American Pie.If you look at the breakdown of the IMDb ratings, you'll see that this movie is deeply polarising. Lots of 1s; lots of 10s. If you watch this movie, some of you will really love it. Some of you will really hate it.I want to give a 10 because...well, it was pretty funny. But the ridiculousness factor and the stereotyping factor are hard to ignore. I'll give it a 6. But don't let that dissuade you from seeing it if you enjoy sex comedies. In the Netherlands on Gay Pride day, Ziggo showed this movie free of charge to all its subscribers throughout the entire country. Sometimes you gotta bless this country!

Not too long ago, a few friends and I got together and decided to watch some of the weird movies my friend and her partner found in her basement. I must stress the fact that our viewing crowd included one bisexual guy, a lesbian couple, a pansexual (me) and three straight people. None of us were quite prepared, and maybe two of us enjoyed it. I was not one of those two. It's been said that this is supposed to be a gay version of American Pie, but it's just too gross and in-your face to be really enjoyed, and I wish I could unsee certain things (i.e. the Carrie "parody", everything with the butt plugs). This movie *should* have been entertaining, but the way that it was crafted makes it rather offensive to everybody. How come the Asian girl had to talk with such an awful accent? Does the lesbian girl really need to be a giant butch? Did there really need to be as much disgusting material as there was? (Quoting myself during the part with the penis pump: "Oh, sweet Jesus NO--") If you're going to make something crass or hard to watch, you need to balance it out with true heart. There was too much vulgarity in the way, and all emotional bits came off as weird and misplaced, like glitter sprinkled into a bucket of bodily fluids. I've heard that this movie is supposed to be "poking fun at the gay lifestyle", but average gay folks don't even live like this! What I really should point out is...what if an ultra conservative person saw this movie and took it seriously? All surreal sex acts and jokes are played straight, and I can seriously see that hypothetical person thinking this is a legitimate documentary on gay life and thinking everybody works like this.I will admit that the school name of San Torum High was pretty clever, and I kinda liked the drag queen mom. Maybe if this movie weren't so in- your-face disgusting, the true emotional core could show through properly. Rule of thumb...just because you can show awful things happening to butts doesn't mean you should.

American Pie with Queers! Stay away, stay away I said. But being the sucker that I can often be, I jumped in this parody pool with both feet and came up not only wet but laughing my ass off! This parody delivers. Good production, good acting and great directing. To quote Miss America "It is subversive and albeit filthy and raunchy, but at the same time, believe it or not, is intelligent and skewers the best and worst of modern day gay culture and gay life. This is one of the best gay films I've seen recently. I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know that is receptive to this kind of film. The movie while being a spoof still has its own message and merits. See this movie if you haven't already!
