Good start, but then it gets ruined

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.

If I hadn't known in advance, I may have thought this could have been a funnyordie-short-film. The length is right and, occasionally, they get an actor from Samuel L. Jackson's caliber. I like the Pulp Fiction star a lot and thought him pairing up with Tarantino again very recently for Django Unchained brought us one of the finest supporting performances of the year. However, these two minutes are just too much noise and too little substance to be really entertaining. It's obvious from the title, this is a spoof of football-related film "Any Given Sunday", only here the center is golf and they sadly didn't get Pacino for the spoof. Check it out if you love Samuel L. Jackson as much as I do, but otherwise stay away. You're not missing much.
