Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Vytautas Jakstas This documentary movie is about Arvydas Sabonis, a legendary basketball players from Lithuania. Various people - family, friends, former team members, trainers, managers, opponents, and Arvydas Sabonis by himself - put in remembrances, talking about the race of one of the best basketball players in the world. I am impressed by the thorough portrait of Arvydas Sabonis shown in this movie. Hard moments in the basketball playing-field are mixed up with sentimental reminiscences of his family. All the retrospective shots from the public life and original scenes from his family life show Arvydas Sabonis not only as a master of basketball, but also a boon companion, wise negotiator, loving father and husband. I would recommend this movie for those who love basketball as well as for those who love sincere stories of life.
