Steve, a young professional snowboarder, ruins a high-paying photo shoot by playing a silly prank. He, his girlfriend Branka and fellow snowboarder Joschi are left behind on the mountain. They seek shelter in an après-ski tavern that is hosting an all-night party. Things go from bad to worse when a scientific experiment unleashes an epidemic of zombies and mutant wildlife. This is mostly lost on the local drunkards, as they are not always easy to distinguish from zombies themselves. But Steve, Branka and Joschi have to find a way to survive this hellish night.

BlazeLime Strong and Moving!
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Patience Watson One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
Ginger Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
bkdow I wish I had not wasted my time. The CGI of animals is awful and the acting is forced.
Stevieboy666 I can remember a time when zombie movies were few and far between but now, post Shaun of the Dead, it seems that new ones are appearing on the shelf every week and sadly the bad ones out number the good. So right from the start I didn't have high hopes with this one.. I was proved wrong. The opening scenes of snowboarding in the Alps are impressive & the horror kicks in within the first 5 minutes. And during it's relatively short running time it is well sustained. This film does pack in plenty of action and thankfully the special effects are more physical than CGI. The soundtrack has an 80's feel to it, with John Carpenter's The Thing instantly springing to mind. The characters are quite likeable and I like that it flits between English & German language. The only downside is that this is a comedy but for me the humour didn't always work. Maybe Austrian humour doesn't translate so well to English. One line, something like "what zombie movie are we in?" just made me cringe. Overall the humour is hit and miss but to it's credit the film boats some decent production values, certainly an above average "zomedy/zomcom" (I hate both of those names!).
jadcarternm156 What an awful film. I have no idea what other reviewers are thinking, anyone would think this was to the zombie spoof genre what Godfather was to gangster films. I did not laugh once and the gore and special effects were worse than a Sinbad film. The only thing worth watching in the film was Gabriela Marcinkova who is extremely beautiful. Avoid at all costs.
Olivia Pope A worth addition to the zombie spoof genre, Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies does a fantastic job of retaining the theatricality of slasher films and blending it with colorful twists that I thought were both unique and fun. The heroes are a ragtag trio of snowboarders whose chemistry is something I haven't seen in many movies before. The plot takes a thrilling turn as the gang finds themselves trapped on the Alps in a log cabin bar surrounded by zombies poisoned by a rogue science experiment. They then must devise imaginative ways of battling the undead as they try to make it to safety. The movie does not fall short on its graphic scenes of decapitation and laceration. Though I am not usually a big fan of slasher films, the violent scenes were done in an entertaining and classic horror way. And I loved how all of it was paired with catchphrase dialogue, slapstick fun and solid character development. A surprisingly lighthearted comedy punctuated by timeless zombie graphics, Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies was a good choice when I was looking for an easy and entertaining watch.
