Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.

Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??

Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

It is the essence of horror, in Gothic tradition, reflected by "Attic Panic". and this does it real good. not only as short film. but as usefull lesson about the rules of genre, reflected by minimalistic but real working tools. a film about ...mistery. about sources of fear. about the mistake changing everything. about fascination as source of fear. and, maybe, interesting support for discover few "Annabell" nuances.
Flow
I liked this one more than I did others because I felt it had more elements combined that he would later use in his Annabelle take on. A little idea quite nicely executed, with a better ending than most, Attic Panic delivers in just under 3 minutes. I guess you could figure out the ending by the half mark, but by then it is already too late for the character involved. And you get to feel some chills down your spine.Nice one! I'd love for a mini-series of short horror movies! Great way to start your day!Cheers!

This for sure isn't my favourite Sandberg short movie. It's not the best for sure, but damn is it good. However, this was full of suspense. It really had me on the edge of my sheet and I had to keep pausing it and coming back to it after a little while of calming my nerves. It took me way too long to get through this, way too long. But that's what Sandberg does best. He plays with suspense and makes you feel uncomfortable and makes you tense up. I had such bad anxiety watching this, it was brilliant. I'm definitely very paranoid about going up into my attic after this one.

"Attic Panis" is a live action short film from last year and another collaboration by David F. Sandberg and Lotte Losten. I really like some of Sandberg's works as they were horror in a way that it really scares and entertains me. This one here I would not count among my very favorites, but it was still a decent watch. I guess it all comes down to how scary I find the monster and I usually prefer the invisible ones. That's why the film was also at its best for me the moment she took away the bed sheet from him. Bad bad idea! The location was also a nice choice. Attics are always scary. Also nice to see the director act this time, even if only in costume. As a whole, I recommend this movie. Sandberg keeps delivering for sure with this one here and not everyone can be a triumph. Still, these films are a perfect example on how to make a good (horror) film, even with little budget. Creativity prevails. I recommend "Attic Panic".
