Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

ninagarcia22 The main character Samantha is a great representation of what people go through on a daily basis when it comes to the grieving of the loss of a loved one. In the movie you see how Samantha starts off as being vulnerable but throughout the movie becomes stronger and determined to find the truth. This female character is balanced and realistic. She is not too overly miss " I don't need a man to help me or others" type, but you see how she goes through the motions. I am happy about the ending, I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but let's just say that it is very interesting once you find out what exactly happened. Overall, a great movie and would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Simon Hassledolf For a film not made by a triple A studio, I'm surprised at the list of known actors in this movie's roster. I'm a huge star trek fan, And when I saw Edward Furlong on the list I had to check this film out. I'll be honest I'm not a big fan of these kind of movies but I will admit its not as bad as the comments make it seem. The editing most definitely could've been better but the acting compensated for all these small technical differences. The story was great, I actually thought it would lack in certain areas like the comments stated, I totally disagree with that. Without spoiling anything the ending wasn't what I thought I'd be it completely threw me off, Samantha definitely deserved much more answers. I still enjoyed the movie overall and I hope others will too.

zachlasso This movie really is not bad, yeah this is my first review but on the contrary to more recent reviews, I enjoyed it. The actors did a good job and the story progressed as it should have, so I don't see a problem here. It made me think about what was really going on toward the end and I do enjoy plot twists in movies. To the actors and everyone who worked on this movie, I say keep on keeping on and expose more people to this movie. Honestly I would recommend Awakened to friends and family because I like to see things gain popularity and traction especially if some people feel differently. Like I said, great movie and would recommend to others.

Niklas Nielsen This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen. The actors are SO bad. The plot is rubbish and the script is so awful and predictable. I caught myself laughing several times during the movie, and i'm pretty sure, that that wasn't the intension from the people who made this so called thriller. It's not thrilling at all. It's very, very slow and boring. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. Save yourself from 2 hours in hell with this boring and very bad movie.It's beyond me, how so many people have rated this movie so high. It must clearly be the director and the actors themselves who rated this piece of crap 9 or 10 stars. Terrible, terrible, terrible movie...
