Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

This was a really fun movie. Great for the family. It was pretty entertaining. I liked all the parts where the bad guys just couldn't handle the baby, and keeps on getting away from them. They just keep embarrassing themselves each time. I was rooting for the baby all the way. It was a fine adventure. It almost feels like you're even part of the baby's adventure itself. The baby looks cute too - just so adorable.

I remember watching 'Baby's Day Out' many times as a kid. As you may or may not know, but this kiddie film was a craze in India, being one of the most popular hits of that time, despite bombing in the U.S during release. But hey, this movie makes me nostalgic & on repeat viewings (if any), i don't find myself grown up or pointing fingers at its silliness. 'Baby's Day Out' centers on a wealthy baby's kidnapping by three incompetent villains, his escape and adventure through a big city while being pursued by the three kidnappers. Its a cute little film, with silly jokes. The baby was adorable & the series of unfortunate events the bumbling villains go through because of the baby, are truly funny, in a very kiddie way. And how can you not laugh when you have actors like Joe Mantegna, Joe Pantoliano and Brian Haley enacting the villains in misery. All the 3 actors are sportive enough to go along with the film's kiddie humor & also show their undervalued gift for physical comedy. And how gorgeous is Cynthia Nixon! What can I say more, but that 'Baby's Day Out' still makes me smile & reminds me of my childhood. Its one of those films that are far from perfect, but when you watch them, they just do it for you.

This movie was capital G Good. I liked the three criminals the most. You had the weaselly thin one Norby (the brilliant Joe Pantoliano), the big goofy one Veeko (a breakout performance by the criminally underrated Brian Haley) and then the "smart" guy Eddie (and when I say smart, you will see that none of them are that smart) played by Airheads and Godfather 3 legend "Fat" Joe Mantegna. Three classic performances that carry the whole movie. I don't want to give too much away, but don't go to the bathroom when they get to the gorilla exhibit. Or the construction site!!! Those scenes almost made me go to the bathroom on my futon!!! The baby gets pretty boring after a while, but it's fun to think about how they had to keep rotating the twins every time one started crying or whatever.

When my dad's head rolls off with laughter, and my mother sees the baby as one of her six Irish babies (a metaphor as so often seen is this sweet and brilliant film), it passes the test for an instant classic: among other things, the incredible web weaved between the brilliantly, hilarious scenes is worthy, in and of itself, of an Academy Award for editing. The critics who charged that some of the events in the scenes would not have happened in reality stunningly fail to see that this film is a human cartoon and requires suspension of reality. Please watch it! But, be careful that your head does not roll off with laughter (sorry: cannot help myself: scenes in the movie are equivalent to heads rolling off; you WILL LAUGH!!). 11 out of 10!
