Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

Hearing about the movie a few years ago,I for reason believed that it was a made up title.Whilst looking round online for cartoons,I was shocked to find that the film was actually real!,which led to me getting ready to see the fight. The plot:As he starts eating some grass,Bambi hears some large footsteps. Before Bambi gets a chance to look up,Godzilla enters the film.View on the short.Made in 2 weeks,writer/director Marv Newland uses a calm classical score to put the viewer in a relaxed mood, which is crushed by the reverberating notes of The Beatles song A Day in the Life.Giving the animation a raw,Punk design,Newland disappointingly misses an opportunity to give the movie a deeper shade of black Comedy,by Newland sadly not having Bambi look up to the up-coming 'Zilla stomp.

I first watched this unusual cartoon a few decades ago on a local PBS station program that showed public domain films. I don't remember laughing as much as marveling at the audacity of Marv Newland to put such a shocking image as that of a giant lizard foot going down on the peaceful deer eating grass just after the "Overture from William Tell: Ranz de Vaches" by Gioachino Rossini played during the beginning credits which has Newland's name constantly crawling up during each one and then segueing to the final sound of The Beatles' "A Day in the Life" droning on as that foot stands still on that poor deer with only the nails moving downward. It's still not a laugh-out-loud moment for me but it's still a fascinating and iconic animation moment to look at just the same...

The Title Pretty Much Explains The Plot & This Video If Your Interested Is On Youtube If You Saw It Bet You Saw That Coming. Godzilla Is The Monster We All Know From The Japanese Films & Battled Monsters & Machines Of All Kinds Including Godzilla Meets Bolante Or Godzilla V.S Megagodzilla. Bambi Is The Lovable Animal That Had An Ending Which Makes Everyone Cry (I Haven't Seen It) 2 Minutes You Will Keep On Watching. The Opening Credits Were The Funniest Part Going Through 2 Minutes Of A Film That Should Be Half A Minute. Oh Look A Lizard Foot. I Suggest Readers Take A Look. But Don't Look At It's Sequel The Sequel Is Horrible.

Yes, it is kind of sad how one sided the contest ends up being. Faster than most of the fights Godzilla has been in over the years. I mean you think the fight he had with the American version of Godzilla in "Final Wars" was fast and one sided the outcome of this epic clash is even more so. In fact one would have expected a super powerful clash between the two, but this mega battle we have all been waiting for never really materializes. I was expecting something special along the lines of Godzilla's matches with King Gidorah or other monsters, but it is over before you realize it has begun. Perhaps if only the one who gets wiped out would have trained a bit more, or perhaps if he only noticed his surroundings a little more than he did, he could have perhaps did some super dodge move and stayed in the fight a little longer. It is hard to contain myself and not reveal to you the reader the winner of this fight as I am sure your are thinking it could go either way, but let me tell you, it is most certainly a one sided contest. Perhaps the loser could get a rematch after his stay at the morgue.
