Myron Clemons
A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

If u seen this movie, then u know what I'm talking about. This low-budget movie made only from sponsor money is happening in Slovenia's second biggest city - Maribor. And because i'm also born in Maribor I can tell that it was great experience to see home city in film like that. What concerned me, although I never tried drugs (i don't smoke either), is, that there really is a lot of drugs on the streets here - u can see it on every step; even in daylight, and that the film is made from TRUE STORIES OF DRUG ADDICTS!! ..and and of that makes life of "innocent" youngsters even harder (beside school, family misunderstandings etc.). If u want to see what life is like when u abuse drugs in every day life like they do in Slepilo then u should really see this movie. I don't doubt that after you've seen this movie, you won't do and/or deal with drugs. I must say, that all of the characters are played excellent, you can really bond with them, and their story. As for the story:Slepilo is talking about Niko, who has became heavily addicted from heroin, and does drugs every day. He started with cannabis and ended in hospital. His girl Lana is not yet addicted, but she tries drugs just to show Niko that he can stop, just like she will. In the series of events we see the life of Niko in the baddest way. Lana starts to sell herself, just to make the money for next shot..and next shot..and next..no exit. They owe lots of money to dealers, so they find themselves hiding from them almost all the time. I won't continue, u must see the movie for yourself..just one thought: don't expect happy ending..
