Perfect cast and a good story

Better Late Then Never
Teddie Blake
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Quiet Muffin
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

This is a surprisingly well directed movie about a teenager who is the new kid in a new school in a new city in a brand new hell. The physical bullying is very graphic and the psychological bullying is downright nasty. Like in many situations like these the parents and teachers are clueless about the violence and torture perpetrated against him. There is hope in the form of a neighbor who lives in the apartment above who initially seems to be an uncouth man but turns out to be a kind of savior of sorts. The movie was shot in 2009 when cyber-bullying was not quite as prolific as it is nowadays but the threat of cyber-bullying is certainly featured in this movie. The moral of this movie is perhaps that if you are getting bullied, flag it up early, make all those involved and in authority and the parents aware of it to fix it and if it doesn't get resolved move to a different school or ensure the ones doing the bullying are expelled. There were some disturbing statistics quoted at the end of the movie regarding numbers bullied in Spanish and UK schools. Food for thought.

this is my first review hear, but I felt I had to do it.I start to watch to this title with few expectations, because mostly European cinema are slow and dull, despite the profoundness of the scripts, but this was in fact a really great surprise.this movie represents and show us the deep core of bullying problems almost in every country around the world. the acting is really great, without the theatrical and artificial concepts of euro cinema, the narrative is consistent during the entire film lenght and giving and causing to the viewers a strange affinity with the cast.this is a very good movie, and represents the good period of Spanish movie industry these days.I give to all parents a must see strong advice.a 9/10 to this piece of art.

I liked it very much, it is a film were a young fellow is been bullied by his school mates. It is difficult to watch as it has very cruel moments but it seems that this director has changed the horizons in Spanish cinema as it is not another predictable film were what you expect happens, all the contrary. A good film that makes you think. I recommended to all. I believe that this film is a new beginning of what I would like to think the end of an injustice situation for so many young people. This problem affects us all directly or indirectly and films like this have a message so we can all think and do something about it.
