bizzywiththefizzy Saw this on the Horror Channel at stupid o'clock.It's your standard 'chick with sad past sees spooky sh*t' film. and it has all the clichés, including 'investigating a trap door' and the doomed lone cop-to-the-rescue.But it wasn't terrible.It reminded me of 'I Know Who Killed Me' which is a completely ridiculous film, but I adore it for being so campy and demented.Not sure why the lead is deaf - at times, she can conveniently hear, like when her phone vibrates three feet away from her - also, it's a wee bit transphobic (male character prances about in a dress Buffalo Bill style and makes dollies out of women because Mum didn't like him cross dressing). The puppet-girl effects were impressive though.Worth a try though, if you're an insomniac and it comes on the telly and you have nothing better to do.

bowmanblue Judging by some of the online comments about Cassadaga, I was expecting something a bit special out of this indie horror. Sadly, there just didn't seem to be much new here to really stand out.It's okay - that's about it. It's one of those films where a young woman gets mixed up with something spooky. Obviously, no one believes her and she does that thing they do in all horror films where they research it on the internet and then seek out 'professional' help.It's definitely not bad. There are a few pretty sick scenes (nicely executed - no pun intended) for the gore hounds and everyone plays their part pretty well. However, it descends into territory where, if you're an avid horror watcher, you'll have seen it all before - how many times does the heroine knock over the killer and then just run away instead of continuing to batter him to death? Well, you get that sort of thing here.If you can be bothered with another horror film, you could do worse. Sadly there's nothing here that is that memorable or that will lift it out of that vast middle ground of straight-to-DVD horror flicks.

nightwatch4773 Believe it or not I had no idea who this beautiful actress was before this show. It does help that I don't watch TV shows or comedies. To be blunt I think she might be the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and her acting is fantastic. Now to the story which was very good but predicable to say the least. This film does have a twist or two up its sleeve so don't think it is totally transparent. It's sort of a possession film meets a torture porn film meets a ghost story. All aspects were enjoyable but it just couldn't get to the next level with me probably due to my distraction with the pulchritude of the lead starlet.

compmend This movie was a well blended mix of genres, there was paranormal, gore (not over the top), a bit of a love story, horror, action, and a some drama tossed in for good measure.The acting was superb in my opinion, I was endeared, engrossed and convinced by the actors and actresses. The plot moved along at the perfect pace, remaining suspenseful and nerve racking until the last moment. The movie had a very pleasant ending that wrapped things up rather nicely.I would recommend watching this movie as it is one of the better movies I have found among the garbage that has been released as entertainment as of late.
