In Seattle, detective Quentin Conners is unfairly suspended and his partner Jason York leaves the police force after a tragic shooting on Pearl Street Bridge, when the hostage and the criminal die. During a bank heist with a hostage situation, Conners is assigned in charge of the operation with the rookie Shane Dekker as his partner. The thieves, lead by Lorenz, apparently do not steal a penny from the bank. While chasing the gangsters, the police team disclose that they planted a virus in the system, stealing one billion dollars from the different accounts, using the principle of the Chaos Theory. Further, they find that Lorenz is killing his accomplices.

Stellead Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
adonis98-743-186503 Two cops, a rookie and a grizzled vet, pursue an accomplished bank robber. Chaos is a pretty well executed and developed heist, action, thriller that benefits from Jason Statham, Wesley Sniples and Ryan Phillippe which by my suprise did a pretty damn good job as a rookie cop. The film isn't without it's flaws tho cause after a very good opening it kinda slows down a bit and it drags in certain places but the acting as i said was pretty damn great and the twist in the end? I gotta admit it i did not see it coming and it was pretty damn clever for sure. (7.5/10)
Semisonic This is the kind of a movie Statham earned bad rep for. And it doesn't even deserve a review, except that writing one might give you a chance to save 106 minutes of your life, a luxury I didn't have. So here goes.First off, don't be fooled by the mumbo jumbo. This film tries so hard to look smart and slick, but ends up typical Statham stupid. The all so meaningful lines all around feel like a random scramble of big words instead of the pieces of one big puzzle that would fit together towards the end. In fact, there's no big puzzle at all: this film is so devoid of any logic and consistency that 30 minutes in I ultimately gave up trying to even guess what's going on.But turning off your brains won't help you sit out this one. Chaos is not decent even at its action aspect. A handful of fights and shootouts, also feeling just randomly put in, are all that's gonna be served to you. And served so lazily that the film doesn't even bother trying to explain why all the stupid stuff like an unexpectedly activated loud beeper while a person carrying one lies in an ambush could happen in the first place. In fact, it's even for the better, because when the film actually tries to explain something to create at least a resemblance of some mystery unfolded, it fails so miserably you'd wish you never heard that nonsense at all.Please, don't repeat my mistake by trusting the "it's not so bad" reviews. I don't know if the authors of those are brain-dead or just trolling. But this is not even a typical Statham movie. This is much worse, a total wreck I hope Statham and Snipes feel ashamed of now. Although, when you participate in a garbagefest like this, I doubt you worry too much about integrity or conscience. After all, such films are made with strictly one purpose in mind: to rob the naive and gullible audience out of some cash. Well, don't be a tool and stay away from this mess of a film, instead, spend your time on something more exciting, like taking a crap or washing dishes. You're welcome!
juneebuggy Statham plays a recently suspended police detective here who is pulled back onto the job and partnered with newbie (Ryan Phillippe) after a bank heist turns into a hostage situation and the man behind it (Wesley Snipes) demands to negotiate only with him.There are big explosions, some cliché cop drama, but also some great twists and turns, and the bank robbery itself is clever as the robbers disappear with over a billion dollars in a very unique way. I liked how they used the chaos theory and personally didn't see the twist coming at all, although for 15 minutes I'd been thinking really, he's...!?Ultimately this was just an okay action cop thriller until the twist and then things got interesting. The ending is very good and kept me in total suspense as I hoped for "that" outcome. Anyways I've seen much worse cop movies. 8/19/14
richieandsam CHAOSI saw this advertised on the TV and had never heard of it. I read that it starred Jason Statham, Ryan Phillippe and Wesley Snipes. How have I never heard of this? Jason Statham and Wesley Snipes in a movie together? Surely this is a mixture for a great movie.Jason Statham is a cop, he is called to a bank robbery with his new partner, played by Ryan Phillippe… but when the robbers get away he must find a way of getting to them.It is a good story and has some great action and twists in it. There is plenty in this movie to keep you guessing, and even some shocking moments that took me by surprise. A couple of twists in the film I did not see coming and was really surprised when watching it.The acting was alright… Jason was OK but he really should not try and put on an American accent. He can't do it and he just sounded completely uncomfortable through the film. I was never sure if he was English or not throughout the movie. He should never try and act without his English accent. It does not suit him at all. Ryan Phillippe was very average… he does a good job during parts of the movie, but then other parts were just badly delivered. He also looked far too young to be playing a cop. It did not look right and felt weird. I felt it was bad casting for this character. Wesley Snipes did a great job, but he was not in the movie as much as I would have liked. He played the leader of the robbers and was very convincing in his role. But most of the film was about the police chasing him. It would have been a lot better if Wesley was in it more. I miss him from the great movies. He was one of my favourite action stars from the 90s… and I can't wait to see him in Expendables 3.I was very surprised to like this film as much as I did… especially as I had never heard of it. I thought I was a film fan, but it seems there are a lot of movies out here that I have missed over the last few years. I like finding hidden gems like this, it is a nice surprise to find a film starring someone you are a fan of and enjoying it.I will give this film 7 out of 10."I have two words for you. Blow me!"For more reviews, please like my Facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ordinary-Person-Movie- Reviews/456572047728204?ref=hl
