Reviews

Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
Konterr Brilliant and touching
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
mbotelho60 This movie should have been done when he was alive , to maybe reopen the investigation. The Kennedys where all crooked beginning with the his bootlegger father just goes to show money gets you out of jail, no matter how you look at it he killed that girl of course the booze hound was drunk but he knew enough to save himself and let that girl die a slow death sleep off the booze then report it. Can't believe he was acquitted
zaniac-67268 Finally, 50 years after the death of Mary Jo and 8 years after Ted Kennedy died the truth comes out. Now we wait for 50 more years before we get to see a movie about all of the people that the Clintons had killed from Arkansas to Africa.
WVfilmfem This film presents a very soft example of why all those single girls were invited to an evening with powerful politicians. To discuss political strategy? Give me a break. Doesn't matter much about the aftermath. This was typical Kennedy behavior, except this time it ended in tragedy.
soupanova-96207 Fails to explain who the Kennedys were, or why they were important.Boring first 12 minutes with no decent character development, just exposition and references to events not explained or portrayed.Wastes the good talent (Kate Mara and Bruce Dern)Casts comedians in 2 crucial roles. Ed Helms does his best, which kinda works, but wow is Jim Gaffigan miscast. Why would you choose comedians for these roles?Character development is non-existent.Disrespects Ted Kennedy almost as much as the audience. For no perceptible reason. (I know very little about him, but this fiction definitely hates him)(or maybe it doesn't, and it's just the incompetent film-making?)I watched this because the reviews were pretty good. I am shocked at how much I was lied to. This is not good. The production design and production quality looks great, that's the only reason I don't give this a lower rating.
