However the story and the acting are excellent and you really need to pay attention to the plot devices to know ultimately "who is who in the zoo".I didn't follow all of the interchanges and needed post-movie research to get the plot right, bit after reflection it all makes sense.This really is a movie that takes place in one setting--- a house, yet within that stage there are numerous shifts and developments so it is not boring.You need to invest yourself in the characters to learn their mannerisms and history within a short period of time, and you will be rewarded.

StuOz The arrival of a comet sends a group of people into The Twilight Zone, 2013-style. A good film but a few minutes into it I was saying: "okay this is a re-make of 1959 Twilight Zone's The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street". This created a bit of a problem as I was comparing the two productions all the time. Another little issue was that I just did not like the characters in the house. And no, this review is not coming from some 25 year fan boy who can't connect with older people, I am middle aged.But having said all this, Coherence is a very welcome low budget science fiction movie for this day and age. It held my interest and I would gladly see more sci-fi movies like this rather than the wham-bam-slam style of CGI-dominated flicks that fill our cinemas these days.

homefan Must see for anyone who finds quantum theory highly entertaining. Low budget indy film that does a tremendous job of exploring the impossibilities? of coherence and demonstrating the fun you can have thinking about Schrödinger's cat. Solid acting, all the twists you'd expect, find you way bread crumbs, heavy dramatic scenes and a little nuttiness. Brilliant. Highly recommended for nerds.
