Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Whitech It is not only a funny movie, but it allows a great amount of joy for anyone who watches it.
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Karlee The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
adonis98-743-186503 A couple on their honeymoon in Morocco survive a deadly car accident in the middle of the desert. Intersections (2013) is one of those films that i totally did not expect to be that damn good, i mean i just finished watching the film on TV and it blown my mind. The movie has some clever twists in it's pocket and some of them were very unexpected and were introduced to us in a really good timing and every character after a while is not that much of a saint as you might actually thought. The acting is really good and Frank Grillo, Jaimie Alexander, Roschdy Zem and the rest of the Cast does a pretty good job. Overall this is a well crafted, directed and produced thriller with some really great twists and turns and a really talented cast. (A+)
rjhughes2 A very enjoyable B movie, along the lines of the minor 1940s classic, "Detour," with surprises, betrayals and brutality. Tough-minded yet likable. More intricately plotted than one would have supposed, given its disarming beginning, with a couple on honeymoon in Morocco. But almost immediately things begin to take a turn for the intriguing. And you don't quite know whom to believe. Everyone is hiding something from another person or persons, and no one, or hardly anyone, is who he or she seems. It's quite fast-moving, with sudden turns and acts of violence and revenge and retribution. There is one quite spectacular car crash that comes out of nowhere. The plot has already been set in motion, in some sense, but this ramps everything up. "Intersections" or "Collision," as it's also known, is one of those finds you're glad to come upon - - and it more than holds your attention. In fact, it repays your regard by offering you a satisfying movie that you didn't see coming (like the action that unfolds).
doug_park2001 The first half-hour or so is intentionally confusing and rather draggy, but all that's going on becomes apparent throughout the rest of the film, which is well-produced with good, though not great, acting. A film without heroes, COLLISION may be a bit too violent, gory, and grim for some tastes. It's also a bit too humorless and slow-moving to be called a "thriller." Still, the way it shows how the different circles of people and the supposed allies within the circles conspire and are all at odds with each and every other is thought-provoking. The whole message seems to be that "No one wins--or if anyone does, it's the wrong people in the wrong ways--when people conspire and connive over money, power, 'love,' etc." COLLISION also takes some risks in the way its entanglements untangle at the disheartening but strangely fitting end. As unsettling as it may be, this film is anything but predictable.
emetieh3 I too had to make sure I had an account on IMDb to rate this movie. First of I have to say this deserves at least 7 stars out of 10 and that is considering all arguments thrown at it. Without a doubt you would have to ignore it's low ratings as that to me is misinformed. The plot is great, acting is superb even with the foreign actors in the movie who did amazing jobs and the Location perfectly suits the movie itself. I wont say too much so I don't end up spoiling it for those who have not seen it yet but rest assured this is one movie you'll seriously enjoy.
