PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Bessie Smyth Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
Ava-Grace Willis Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
katherinekrautz While the fashion and decor are a little dated now, this 90's teen movie is refreshing in other ways. Finding a movie that speaks to teenage girls the same way (or in an even more empowering way?) that American Pie does to teenage boys was a pleasant surprise- except that no one has heard of it. This movie tells the story of a young woman who is "self actualised" enough to discuss and then pursue sexual satisfaction after her first experiences with intercourse with a male were less than satisfying. The realisation of their own sexual boredom and subsequent joining in on her mission of her two best friends is both poignant and telling about how sex is regarded among teens today. Add in a little typical college application stress, modern parenting and the problems of the over privileged in NYC and you have a truly excellent teen drama with just enough Ryan Reynolds to make it worth your while watching.
dgrec3 Horrible movie. Horrible story dealing with the lives of New York's snobby rich kids. Not at all a relateable story as the tagline "American Pie for Girls" would lead you to believe. At least that movie had some things normal people could relate to. Coming soon is just a bad movie that was banking on people watching it cause it was about sex. Bottom line: horrible story, average at best acting, bad flick.
kentatm I wanted to like this movie. It's not awful, but it's not very good either. There are some moderately funny moments that could have been enhanced by better directing and editing. In fact, that is the main problem with the film. It just seems to float along and never really get started. The dead on portrayal of private school kids and how petty they can be was lost through poor ploting. Also, characters seem to vanish and pop up randomly for no reason. To show you what I mean, I won't explain and leave you the way the movie left me feeling. The acting is OK at best but it's a teen comedy and it's not like I was expecting the best but the reactions to situations is a bit unbelievable. ***SPOILER*** This is most evident when Nell anounces she has had her first orgasm. The girls are happy for her and ask who the guy was. But no! It was a girl! Seems Nellie has a same sex attraction. How this revelation met just after Jenny has been berating the lesbian drummer as "That dike?" "Oh, it was her I did it with" "Thats great Nell!" (all smiles)and on to the next scene. But I digress. Ok for a rainy day but better directing could have really made a difference. 4/10
perhan i thought the film was sweet but that some of the casting was poor. Stream was cast with a girl appearing to be twice the characters age. she seemed a worn out, been around the block, late twenties hard. where did they find her? a dumpster? then the rest of the story revolving around her wasnt paid attention to at all. the so-called lesbian character.........i couldnt figure out what went on there. it seems the writer or director dropped the ball on the supporting cast. toO bad because it had flickers of hope. moments of genuine performances we didnt get to see enough of. i wouldve liked to see the film evenly distributed amongst the three main girls, each of their stories fleshed out. and Stream cast with someone who was easy on the eye
