Reviews

BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Allissa .Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
milton-freddy Anders Refn had a successful debut presenting this convincing drama with a psychological and critical depiction of society in the framework of a crime film effectively filmed by Mikael Salomon who later made it to Hollywood. There is great sympathy with the struggling temperamental police officer, Jens Okking, who cannot clear up the crime opposed by the elite of society administration. Transferred to another position he still insists on continuing his detection work but hampered all the way by top executives he cannot bring to justice. This sounds familiar, plot wise, but this was the first time a story like this premiered in a Danish film. Jens Okking received a Bodil award for his performance, and he went on to portray that kind of police officers in other films and TVseries.
