In 1989, Jenny Ecker, an 18-year-old daughter of an entrepreneur, flees from Hildesheim to the east - out of love. The teenager has fallen hopelessly in love with an East Berliner. Jenny’s parents are foaming from wrath and offer a reward: One-hundred thousand, later even a million, deutschmarks for whoever brings them their daughter back. The prospect of so much money gets east and west into quite a disarray – and in the end, the Wall really falls.

Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Roundhammer Well, I'll start with the story, 'cause it's really, really dumb. But does anyone care? I don't think so, since the first part had good ratings and based on early rating reports this one was even more successful. And the story really doesn't matter that much, because CRAZY RACE 2 has a great cast!Alongside several well known German supporting players the quick cameos of Werner Böhm and Daniel Küblböck (fresh from German DSCHUNGELCAMP) had me laughing on the floor. But the most evil casting coup was Dirk Bach as Egon Krenz, which is so stupid that it is brilliant.I'm looking forward to part 3!
