SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Humbersi The first must-see film of the year.
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Michael_Elliott 30 for 30 Shorts: Cutthroat (2013) Clint Malarchuk was an NHL goalie who is best remembered for a freak accident on the ice where another player's skate came up and slashed his throat on the ice. We see the impact that this nearly fatal injury had on him, which included a life of depression and alcohol abuse. I must admit that I'm not the biggest hockey fan in the world so I know very few names in the sport. I had never heard of Malarchuk so I was learning about him for the first time here. I guess since I've never heard of him it should come as no shock that I had never seen the video of this accident on the ice and it's without question one of the most shocking things I've ever seen. As someone who has seen countless horror movies I can say there's a safety net to them because you know it's fake. Seeing the footage of Malarchuk getting his throat slashed and the actual impact and bloodshed was just shocking him. Seeing the pain in his eyes as he tries to talk about the ordeal was just as hard to watch. This is certainly a very unpleasant film to view and especially the actual footage but at the same time it's quite uplifting to see how this story ends up.Episode: A-
