Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
DubyaHan The movie is wildly uneven but lively and timely - in its own surreal way
Motompa Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.
Griff Lees Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
Asharful Haque We all know Salman is a very good action hero.. He has done many action movies before as well... But this is his best action movie character till date... He has given a superb performance... The action sequences (there are loads) are great, and so is the music.... As we all know, it is rare for both of these things to be that good.... so, Do I need to tell you anymore?!
gopiparthajay Indeed, I've always felt that the Salman of Dus ka Dumb and TV interviews needed to be bottled and sold. Dabangg does just that. He's alternately laconic and charming, brutal and bratty, but always with a smile. He's Bollywood's Rajinikanth and I suspect his career will continue almost as long. Perhaps he can stop weaving his hair? And yes girls, in case you think there's too much of the dishum dishum happening, there's also the money shot. Salman's shirt tears under the weight of his bursting muscles and rips itself off his chest--yes, a little pudgier than it's been, but hey, the man is 45, or is it 46. Well edited, with songs strategically placed throughout the movie, including the rousing other movies.
Prashast Singh Movie: Dabangg Rating: 4.5/5Salman Khan has played action packed roles for a long time. But this time he shines as the new age cop in his mega action entertainer Dabangg, where he is excellent not just as an actor, but also as a true hero who looks like a cop. It's not only Salman, but also the screenplay that makes this film excellent. Every scene, from beginning to end, has a great repeat value. Every action scene, every song, almost everything in this film is excellent. The punch dialogues are worth clapping. The film has limited number of laughs and cries, and has a perfect ratio of everything.Salman Khan is the true gem of this film. There is not even a single scene where he disappoints. His larger than life role itself is an evidence of it. Other actors do their respective parts extremely well. The action and technical department is excellent. The music is another major plus point of the film. Perhaps it's a great movie with almost everything good.Overall, Dabangg is a great entertainer that has a brilliantly great repeat value as well. Watch it and you will definitely be entertained. Simply an ENTERTAINER!
alifmansoori Hey Guys , I agree with the review "Snobs" . I feel that expecting an entertainment pot boiler to be a David Lynch's master piece is exactly what's bringing out the snobbery of the viewers who gave a low rating to this movie. A humble request , please go back to watching National Geographic or the History channel for your "realism " and please stop "brown nosing" Hollywood flicks, even your great Master film maker like Steven Spielberg has made cringe worthy movies like the last Indiana Jones , where Monkeys and Shia Lebouf are performing cartoon antics . In comparison Dabangg is a no nonsense film from a no nonsense action star/ actor Mr Salman Khan . Why don't you haters stick to your altar and continue your worship of "every thing - foreign- must -be -good" temple and leave movies like Dabangg for the rest of us to enjoy it purely for entertainment's sake . Hats off to Mr Khan and we request more sequels and prequels please . Thanks for entertaining us . I wish you all the very best Mr Salman Khan.
