Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Motompa Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
tstar99-581-999947 I'm just not that all impressed. I think royal albert hall was probably better. just that the tech has changed since then. makes it visually ok. i do like some of his new music. I did not care for the comparison of Pompeii then and now. it was way too self gratifying and it was like the other band members didn't exist. I can see why they broke up. ego's destroy, not make a band. same as real life, work and country. oh did i forget greed, lol !!!
hiddenwithin-35455 An absolute legend, the greatest rock guitarist in history, still performing after this amount of time. From the greatest rock group of all time, David gilmour is truly a master of his craft. His sound is as pure and clinical as any artist you will find. His music is haunting and never fails to give me shivers. Truly one of, if not the greatest guitarist of all time. This concert is magnificent, wonderful, moving and David gilmour at his constant and absolute best.
jonmurdock David Gilmour makes it scream whether it's a Gibson with a whammy, a strat, or a beat up telecaster. This guy can WAIL at 70+ years of age, and not only that, sing. It would be a great show for any Pink Floyd fan in any conventional setting, but the fact that this is recorded at Pompeii is maximus head-rushis. The song that REALLY jumped out during the opening numbers was The Great Gig in the Sky, where singer Lucita Jules was truly amazing to watch and hear. Her mouth is so large she looks like a human Pez Dispenser, but the sound coming out of that mouth is something to behold. Her companion, Louise Clare Marshall, also has a great singing voice - although your attention may be focused on her large booty during the entire show. If you have attended many rock concerts, this is pretty much how this one works as do the rest: some questionable stuff with interjections of great stuff building up to the greatest stuff and a mind-boggling light show. As a Pink Floyd fan, I am gonna go ahead and give this film a 9/10 score. I may re- do that score later, as my sound system is far superior than that of my local theater.
verjan2 Awesome - breathtaking - stunning. DG, maybe the best rock guitarist at present, again proves he is doing the best rock shows ever. Genius loci and déjà vu that will get you into your knees. Bravo, David! And once again: Awesome - breathtaking - stunning, Awesome - breathtaking - stunning.
