Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
pointyfilippa The movie runs out of plot and jokes well before the end of a two-hour running time, long for a light comedy.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Haven Kaycee It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
ArdentViewer I tried very hard to keep watching this movie but couldn't. Upon several attempts I could only make it about halfway through. It is all the worst that horror movies can be - cheesy, ridiculous, farcical, dumb, and not scary. I'm not sure what the goal was here. Horror comedies can be quite clever and entertaining when done well (Fido is a good example) but this film failed on every level. There was no real plot or characters aside from tiresome clichés. The so-called action left much to be desired. Even the gore was boring (if that's your thing - it's not mine). I can't see any redeeming qualities. I really don't know how the film yielded a 5.9 current rating on IMDb. It's not worth wasting any of your time on this movie.
Wednesday Three I would give it 3 stars if I hadn't watched too many zombie movies. Despite the dross out there it only shines because of the unique musical aspect. It doesn't as a zombie movie. Have a care about what you will watch and you can find better. It IS worth seeing if you want a standard to judge things by. A bad standard admittedly but a standard nevertheless. Good sets but I feel like it was an advert for a terrible country band. It conforms to some faintly amusing stereotypes and there are some interesting use of weapons. The characterisation owes much to the 'Hammer' school of glossy hair and a wide mouth for screaming school of acting. You won't like them and so the musical interlude about their endeavors serves only to annoy, frustrate and occasionally judge others by their standard.
mongoriaflaxseed Despite the lame title, I had no idea that Dead and Breakfast was a comedy. And yeah, it is pretty funny! You've got the typical group of 20-somethings taking a road trip to attend a friend's wedding, when they get lost and decide to spend the night at an inn. They're all there: Cool cat, stoner, tough-talking girl, nice girl, level-headed girl, dweeb. What sets it apart from most movies like it, is that they don't mysteriously start getting picked off one by one. Several references are made to clichés, such as dead cell phones and forgotten car keys, but they're quick and sly and work! And of course, there's the clueless sheriff and deputy, but they're simply and effectively satirizing those common roles. The gore/splatter level is pretty acceptable for fans of that (like me). Now let's talk about Zack Selwyn. What a hilariously talented singer this guy is. He pops up several times to fill us in on the plot line through awesome little country ditties and each time, he nails it! It gets to the point where you can't wait for him to appear on screen with his acoustic guitar and rhymes. He totally makes this movie worth watching, and definitely the most amusing thing about it. From great lyrics to the absurd "Thriller" dance, this movie belongs to him.
herenow44 One of the worst movies I've seen in probably the past 5 years, and it has a higher rating than some decent movies. It bothers me that some people on this site simply throw ratings on movies, it makes it difficult to know which movies are ACTUALLY worth renting/watching. Films on the top 250 list are often only given 7-8 stars because users will give them 1 star thinking that it's "funny". IMDb should only allow users to rate if they have established themselves as credible accounts first!!! Some of the music is lyrically amusing, but the acting is just horrendous and I was very close to turning this movie off several different times.Very surprising to see some well known actors in this low budget thriller. Don't waste your time, unless you need a good laugh!!!
