Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Dead is Dead 25 takes the zombie film into a whole new direction and it works. A drug called doxital was sold for public use. This drug could grow back a persons severed limb and even bring them back from the dead. The drug that was sold, was spoiled and turned all people who took it into the walking dead. These dead don't eat the living, they live among the living. The dead are protected by the United States army. Mike Stanley, who wrote and directed the film, reprises his role as Eric Shepherd. Eric Shepherd, who works for the army, is the head of the D.I.D (Dead is Dead). He protects the dead and searches for any existing doxital. After coming face to face with one of the mutations, Shepherd realizes enough is enough. The dead must be destroyed even if it means taking human life to do it. This film is creepy. Mike Stanley's style of film making is haunting. I highly recommend it.
