good back-story, and good acting

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction

Let's be clear about it: the movie is a low-budged production. Considering that, it is actually not as bad as it could have been.Even though the upcoming zombie apocalypse is the new hotness these days, this one's on the lighter side of the subject. Apparently zombies are just normal people with normal problems: missed opportunities, lovesick and of course hungry for a road-trip.The story is pretty much about a guy what wants to get to his former girl and tell her that he loves her - in total spite of the fact that he's a zombie now. He picks up a few fellow travelers along the way and together they embark on a road-trip. All while some 'corporation' (remember Umbrella?) is hot on their rotting heels. In the end he confesses his 'undying' love. With the entire zombie backdrop it is fun to watch, but it leaves you here and there with a few blanks you got to fill in for yourself. The zombie outbreak is just a facade, if I may say so, to pepper the movie with some comic relief. However, the entire thing is so over-the-top that it is actually fun to watch. Several scenes are rather hilarious, while others leave you going: "WFT?" And that is the weak spot of it; at times neither the plot, nor the actions of certain characters seem to make sense. Therefore I deem it rather average, however funny enough to not turn it off mid-way. Give it a try for yourself and see how infectious it is.

This was nice twist on zombie movies, Which I don't think it's be done before but I found the first half the movie very funny at times. As the movies goes on, I didn't really find some of the jokes that funny at all, I got really bored in the middle of the movie.I didn't really thing the movie was that gory at all for a zombie movie, there maybe body Parts being pulled there some strange moment were zombie guts were used as a ropeThe acting was really good from the whole, it shame some of the bad parts of the movie kinda of over shadows fist half of the movie. I wasn't to keen on ending of the movie at all.6 out of 10

Humor is in the eye of the beholder. So while the quirky way this movie decides to take, is not everyones taste, even those who don't like it that much, have to admit, that it sticks to its plan. Of course that doesn't help with those who won't like it from the get go. But at least you know, this isn't for you then. There's other movies that try a similar formula (one's hidden in my summary line, the other being Revenant ... though I can only recommend the latter as an alternative, even if not as good as this one), but none have a thorough story or the actors to back it up, as does this movie. Not without flaws, but as good as it gets in that genre and not just trying to be cool, but actually achieving it. I can only hope that you can enjoy it as much as I did ...

Deadheads is both a zombie movie and a love story about two zombies who go on a cross-country road trip to reconnect with a girlfriend from their waking life. It is far better than one might expect from the premise.I am not particularly interested in zombie movies so I was pleased to find that Deadheads had characters with very human motivations; several times during the film I found myself caring for Michael McKiddy's character, despite his zombie appearance. One great thing about the film is its self-awareness. The directors, and actors know they are making a zombie love story, and they embrace the ridiculousness of that fact completely. The movie is all about fun--there are many pop-culture references, references to other movies, and a lot of extremely vulgar humor and absurd situations that could only happen in an independent film. There is however, just enough sentimentality to keep it human and down to earth. In other words, if you make your girlfriend watch only one zombie movie this year, make this the one--it has enough echoes of romantic comedy to appeal to a larger audience. With that said, I am confident I am the target demographic: a male who grew up loving 80's movies. There are several scenes that seem a little too long but overall the pacing is good, the action is exciting, and the length felt right. Deadheads is not going to change the world. But if you have an interest in humor, gore, and want to be entertained for an hour and a half it is worth your time.
