Kattiera Nana
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

A Disappointing Continuation
Stoutor
It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Dirtylogy
It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

I didn't really know anything about this movie before I went into this movie and I think that was to my benefit, the plot summary IMO would have spoiled it a bit for me as it all takes a while to unfold. To put it short it's about a guy who's more or less a loser who falls for the rich pretty girl who likes to live on the edge of life which will cause serious consequences for the both of them.It doesn't really feel like a natural progress at times, characters seem to just be going with the flow a little too easy but the stellar acting from Shiloh Fernandez and Haley Bennet (who reminds me a bit of Jennifer Lawrence) and the co-stars make the movie still work.It starts out with a saying that it's based on a true story, how much is true though I really don't know, it's set in the 80's so I imagine that that when the true story occurred. If you're looking for a gripping story that will keep you on the edge of your seat than perhaps this is the wrong movie, but if you want to watch a melancholic indie drama then this will do.
