Some things I liked some I did not.

It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

"Delta Farce" is the single worst film ever made. Nothing else comes close. Not only is this film not amusing in any way whatsoever, it is also highly offensive. The film is racist, misogynistic, and primarily xenophobic. The story is about three men who think they are fighting the war in Iraq, when they are actually in Mexico. "Delta Farce is the worst script ever written. Larry The Cable Guy is an atrocious actor. DJ Qualls is absolutely cringe-worthy in the film. I am not easily offended, but I was strongly offended by this film. "Delta Farce" is poison. To call "Delta Farce" a film would be an insult to art of cinema.

This is one of the most horrendous movies I have ever seen. It's supposed to be a comedy but It wasn't very funny at any moment. And I don't know if it has a political message, is it pro Iraq war or anti, either way I couldn't tell. It's just a mess that should be avoided at all cost, it has no original joke and every joke has been told before. More than that, every joke and every situation that's supposed to be funny has been telegraphed and expected. The movie is about a trio of redneck buddies who are in the Army reserves and are called up to duty to join the fight in Fallujah. Needless to say they did not make it there, but the redneck part is played to the hilt. From the first time they were introduced up to the time they landed at the wrong destination. Everything they do emphasize their ignorance and none of it is particularly funny. It's like the worst of "The Beverly Hillbillies" it's not even ignorance in some cases just stupidity. And it makes the movie more painful to watch than already is.None of the jokes and situations are original, and most of them are telegraphed and quite very early. The situation with Larry and his girlfriend (Christina Moore) was pretty much where it was going to go. You can't convince me that you didn't know what she was going to say. Even the sight gags were so obvious, sending us endless message that this trio are a bunch of rednecks and they're suppose to do the redneck cliché. Old jokes can sometimes still work if you have the right people to deliver it. Suffice to say this cast of goofballs just are not the right people. For the most part they know they're delivering a one liner or a punchline. It's been said that the best way to play comedy is to play it straight. These guys know they're in a comedy and what's worse is that they know it's bad comedy. None of the three leads are particularly good actors and what they do isn't create a character but rather create caricatures. Personally I find that that's common with comedians who try their hands at acting.This movie is an unoriginal, unfunny, clichéd film. The jokes are clichéd and so are the situation. To make matters worse none of the lead are any good as actors.

this movie i saw as a mistake. see, i was vacationing in Mexico, and there, we saw the Spanish title for this movie in the local theater without seeing the poster and thought we were gonna see tropic thunder. big mistake, i say. for starters, who the hell told the blue collar squad, specially that fatass named larry the cable guy, that they're cut for movies? it tries to give some chuckles by using hot but dumb blonde chicks and hick redneck jokes, with no results. then we have these idiots going to reserve training. granted, reserve forces are more relaxed than active duty, but these idiots treat it as a vacation. no doubt REAL reservists and guardsmen will not be amused. then there's the whole "i think were in iraq" crap. Jesus, they're your stereotypical patriot warmongering hicks who supposedly follow the war, how can they assume that iraq has, i don't know, MOUNTAINS?! and they see two Mexican peasants and because they have brown skin, they assume them to be iraqis! and anyone who has gone to a real rural Mexican town knows this movie is full of crap, cause Mexican towns don't look like this! it looks more like a set for a speedy gonzales cartoon. all in all, this movie fails for its gross humor lack of geographic skills and outdate racial humor. yeah, accuse me of taking this too seriously but ill tell you this, superbad, pineapple express, talladega nights, now those were funny. not surprisingly we walked out of this godawful pieces of cowcrap. in the end, it wasn't about being pro or anti war or loving or hating rednecks. it's about trying to have a good time at the movies and having it ruined. p.s. the reason i gave this 2 stars is that this in not AS bad as larry the cable guys other "crapsterpiece" health inspector.

After reading other peoples comments and seeing the review score i was shocked, i can't believe how low that the score it.I think that this film is awesome, well thought out. Putting three dumb people in the army and sending them to Iraq but ending up in Mexico, while the three dumb people think that they are in Iraq. One of the best films i have seen. I have watched it 1000000 times, and I'm going to watch it now that will make it 1000001.I love the humor the actors and everything about the movie. They couldn't of made it any better. I hope that they make another one like this.I cant see how other people could not of liked it, but i guess that people have their opinions.
