Michael Ledo This is a fast paced "Student Bodies" meets "Scott Pilgrim" type of movie. The humor comes at you quick and you must pay attention. It is a teen slasher spoof film, but also tosses in a few aspects of other films. There are clues as to what is going on, but don't worry about trying to catch them and figure out the film, just enjoy the scenes.Some lines that come too mind:"Pregnant teens are never funny." A clear slap at "Juno.""I only eat baby animals.""Pain don't hurt.""Where did you learn to make a snuff porno? Lady Gaga?""Gnawing through boyfriends like an unfed piranha.""This human conversation thing isn't working. Let's do texting."The production incorporates numerous obscure 1980's references, some of which are explained. The film is done in a modern quirky "Scott Pilgrim..." style, but knowledge of 1980s movies is helpful in order to enjoy the feature.There is a slasher at school. Meanwhile Ione (Spencer Locke), the cute air headed blond likes under achiever cool guy Clapton Davis (Josh Hutcherson). She has given up her jock boyfriend Billy Nolan (Parker Bagley)for him. He wants to beat up Clapton over her, and he is willing to fight for her because she is deep and likes Sting. Meanwhile Riley Jones (Shanley Caswell) has a crush on Clapton and becomes a third wheel.PARENTAL GUIDE: F-bombs, brief sex and brief nudity.

jackmeat My quick rating 6,5/10. I haven't enjoyed a movie I knew nothing about like this in a long time. Take basically every movie genre, think of a bunch of titles from each, and mash them all up into one all over the place package. To attempt to pin this to one genre is impossible, it attempts them all, and does a pretty good job. Explaining the plot is tough, but this often funny movie encompasses time travel, slasher films, teen comedy and the breakfast club just to name a few of what you are getting into. Nice performances from quite a few unknowns as well. The timing is pretty spot on for the jokes, and are so far off for the scares it is just fun. I am sure anyone can pick this movie to shreds for continuity if they so desire, but very much not worth it. "OMG is she going to give birth to herself" LOL. Suffice it to say, in being so much like so many movies you have seen, this is something you have never seen before. I am unsure why I hadn't seen or heard of this before now but I am glad I finally ran across this one. Oh, and apparently Dane Cook still does have a job...then again, he did recently pop up on American Gods. Good stuff, check it out.

xsagaroth I honestly have no idea why this is a 5 something, funny, great soundtrack, did i say it was funny? Good storyline - bit off the wall, but I didn't want to watch something that reminds me of something else! I do not write reviews (though I do love films probably more than is healthy), mostly because i cant be bothered but this is well worth a watch, don't let that rating put you off!!!!The rating put me off and so did the synopsis!! The synopsis describes the last 30 minutes of the film perhaps????? I just don't get why the rating is so low, decent acting, just decent all rounder, how could people give this a five???Seriously enjoy.

deraldg-105-77021 I'm an old fart that still loved this comedic teen scream. The acting was very good, not Oscar material, but fun and talented. And hey the kids are still young, who's to say there's not one in their future? Shanley Caswell and Spencer Locke were great and cute as buttons.Josh Hutcherson made a likable leading man.The movie itself was eclectic, space ships and time travel to ax welding prom queens. A little bit Scream, Animal House, and Back to the Future.Cinematography was great as was a wonderful soundtrack.Note: Yes brief nudity, and the other stuff you have to consider if young kids watch. However, the gore was limited and comedic. Your kids, but about 12-14 years old would be my cut-off.
