ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre

nithya_raman Is this movie for real...??The camera angles are truly terrible with so many shadows in almost every scene. The colors and lighting were also completely off...! I thought the camera was shaky and moved around way too much. The editing in this movie was also poor. The actors didn't do a great job either...none of them were close to believable.. Those girls in the movie CANNOT act..! Even though the storyline was kinda OK..I didn't find a continuity from one scene to the next.. It seemed like this movie was shot by an amateur and edited in someone's garage! Overall, this movie was a definitely a waste of time...!

When he sends the girls to car-jack a Hollywood album release party being thrown by a hot rap group, they don't realize that the group's master tapes are in the trunk of one of the stolen cars. The rappers must get them back or their careers go up in smoke, and decide to take the law into their own hands. But one member gets sidetracked and falls for one of the sexy thieves. Will love get in the way of revenge?

briggzyuk One of the worst films i've ever seen. The camera angles we're awful.. The Script was corny.. the characters we're pointless..Acting was poor..Waste of time.The editing was poor, The Camera Wasn't correctly white balanced, in some parts "Platinum" top half of his head vanish when the light was reflecting. The "Dramatic" string stab when the "Dowgz" we're in shot was corny and pointless.. The orange blood didn't do this film any good either. The Gun shots with the "Zoom" on the bullet effect just topped off the movie for me.the story idea had potential to be good thats why i watched it.. but this was the definition of a let down. Im a fan of low budget movies and student short films an this just doesn't compare to them.the characters who played "Platinum", "South Central" and the Girl who was sleeping with Platinum..could have potential to be good actors with the right script though.
