Glucedee It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

tracywooduk OK, this movie is far from perfect hence my rating, however is it SO much better than the 4.8 is currently has.Firstly, the acting is good. So much better than I was expecting. I was also expecting some kind of run of the mill 'slasher' type film. Don't Blink starts the same as so many other films in this genre - sexy folk heading away for the weekend in a remote area with no phone signal, running out of petrol, wanting to get frisky etc, etc. Lets all face it we have seen that a million times before. However, this is where the similarities ended. One by one the party start to disappear into thin air. No murders, no gore (almost) and no falling over in the woods whilst trying to escape. Just disappearing.I was slightly disappointed by the ending, I tend to like everything sewn up and explained. I guess this is why the score is so low.Don't Blink is definitely worth and hour and a half of anyone's time just don't expect a masterpiece.6/10

FlashCallahan Ten people arrive at a secluded mountain resort to find it completely deserted. With no gas for the return trip, the visitors are forced to stay and investigate the mystery surrounding the abandoned lodge........It starts off all well and good, just like any other horror mystery. We have a gang of people whom some of are recognisable from days of glory past, and some you vaguely remember from a guest appearance from some long forgotten TV show.And this is the norm for horror films, the more famous you are, the more likely you'll survive, unless you put in a special guest appearance and leave quite early on.So the gang reach an abandoned place where it looks like the residents a have just gone out for a walk, but no, something sinister is afoot, and it's not long before the characters start to shout at each other and act strange.And that's the film basically.People disappear one minute, and are never seen again, until we are left with just one person, and no explanation.Considering the film is barely ninety minutes long, it feels like an eternity getting to the end of the film, and what vexes you when you finally come to its lethargic finale, we get nothing more than a cameo from Robert Picardo, reminding you that the last time you saw him, he was about to be assaulted amorously by a Gremlin.Which sounds more appealing than sitting through this rubbish again.

J M IRISH Human existence and the inevitability of non existence...the ultimate ax killer in the cupboard slashing around with no mind or reason....Good concept as a movie, but poorly conceived by the makers. I watched this and imagined what Bunuel or Pasolini could do with this production team had there been a mind to create rather than follow the norms of Hollywood. Drama relied too much on music, and the characters Stereotypes. Major flaw , to me anyway, was lack of cultural,social,political context. This left the movie empty of a generic soul. And more cans gathering dusk on film archive shelves ready to fill the commercial screens of cable horror channels many years hence.

riporeilly While not sure as to how to truly "label" this film... it's definitely a worth watching movie. The characters are varied and balance out with each other. I don't want to give it away so I will write what I was thinking as I watched it. This is the type of movie I personally think is best to see without reading the promo. Watch it that way and you will understand why. At first it seems TOO peaceful, ... and yes it is... at first. It doesn't take long however for the viewer (and characters) to realize something's amiss. The bully kid from "A Christmas Story" is all grown up and plays a major role in the film as is also Mena Suvari. All in all a good watch. Keep the lights off for maximum enjoyment.
