SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Abegail Noëlle While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
ManchesterMatthew I watched the film without knowing anything about it (save for the short synopsis) and having not seen a trailer. As a result, the first half of the film was filled with intrigue as the tale unfolded, but then for me it felt like one of those films where they have a good idea but can't quite bring it to a close. As a result, the second half of the film fell flat for me as it took a detour into bog-standard clichés, whereas the first half had been comparitively original. I won't say any more than that so that you can watch the film without spoilers or preconceived ideas. Chances are you'll enjoy it, but I suspect I won't be alone in finding it to be a film of two halves.
ferant It's much more than a typical teen terror movie. As a problematic teenager, to become an adult you have to go down a dark hall. In this life if you fail in school, your home looks like hell to you, and you feel everybody else is to blame but you, someone will try to use you in order to get his goals, throwing you away right after. And one big question: will you give up your life to let a genius that died young, continue to create amazing master pieces that will last till eternity? Is it worth it? Maybe not for the one person giving up his life, but for mankind?
Javier Arnao I just watched it yesterday, with no big expectations, and it truly surprised me. It's way more elegant and classy than I expected, well-performed and beautifully shot. The music is unbelievable, the piano scenes and the way they're shot shocked me and moved me. If this is a teen movie, then it must the best and classiest teen movie in a long, long time.
jethaciaelinfinito I really enjoyed this film. I'm not going to talk about the great cinematography and soundtrack or the brilliant actors (all outstanding), but about the story itself. Don't expect something like Twilight at all. This story hides much more for you to explore. The atmosphere, all the different details are there to make you feel uncomfortable to make you wander in an old dark school that could well reflect your inner self. Don't miss it!!!
