Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring

Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
ken-bld Normally I avoid vampire and werewolf type films. They've been done to death. If you're looking for the classic stake through the heart run from the sun and hide from the garlic vampire films this is not for you. This is a very new twist on the classic vampire film. It is inspired by modern true events. In most vampire films the women are usually little more than blood banks. But the two key actresses play their parts very well. They are beautiful and seductive. The plot is good the acting is good and the directing is good. One review noted that if you want to see kinky this film is no good to search the web. I agree. This is not your average vampire film. But if you want to see a vampire type film that requires an IQ over 50 and a film you may actually think about afterward it is definitely worth a rental.
Claudio Carvalho In Montreal, the wife of detective Raymond Pope (Conrad Pla) is killed in a sexual encounter with the mysterious and wealthy Elizabeth Kane (Caroline Néron). Pope investigates the disappearance of his wife, and finds a hint in an Internet site where she used the codename Wildcat and in her journal. When he meets the sexy and lesbian Elizabeth, his life turns upside-down and he is accused of murder of his lover Nancy and the babysitter of his son, Lisa. Pope follows and chases Elizabeth to Venice, where he discloses that she is actually the infamous Elizabeth Bathory, a.k.a. Countess Dracula."Eternal" is a very underrated vampire movie. This erotic story has a wonderful cinematography and locations, and a good cast, highlighting Conrad Pla and the gorgeous Caroline Néron. The vampires in this story do not have trouble with crucifixes, are reflected in the mirror, can enter in an apartment without invitation, die when stabbed, but I liked a lot this film. My vote is seven.Title (Brazil): "Eterno" ("Eternal")
SergioMac This film opens with a, ehm, sexual bang. This beautiful woman awkwardly meets this other beautiful woman in this giant mansion. Beauty #2 seduces #1 and... well, the rest is eternity, so to speak. Problem is, beauty #1 happens to be this cop's wife. He is this renegade kind of guy, who plays by his own rules. Total stereotype. And, by the way this all takes place in Canada. And, also, this film has a very strong sexual theme to it. Lots of action, guy and girl and girl and girl. I would hesitate to call this film a vampire movie. And there is plenty of blood, and some suspense. And erotica. However, this movie is shot wonderfully. The imagery and cinematics are worth seeing. Lush color, symmetrical camera shots, and nothing else is missed. It is quite beautiful. Yet.. the rest is hokey in some aspects.
Dr. Gore *SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT* I was excited about this one. I saw that it played in a few theaters in New York and L.A. before shuffling off to the video store. That's a good sign. At least they tried to give it a chance. I also can't get enough of the Elizabeth Bathory legend/myth. There's just something about a woman insisting in bathing in blood that speaks to me. So it was with high hopes that I rented this one. Surely, "Eternal" would be sleazy enough for a discriminating B-movie lover such as myself.Bad news. "Eternal" actually has pretensions of being a real movie. The horror! So a detective is investigating the disappearance of his wife. All of the clues lead to Elizabeth Kane, wealthy hot woman. Kane might actually be the real Elizabeth Bathory. The detective won't give up his search and chases her around the world as everyone he knows keeps getting killed for her blood baths. Here's my main problem with this wannabe classy exploitation flick: Kane does not get naked! Repeat, Elizabeth Kane, the woman who was supposed to bathe nude in blood, does not get naked. This is horrible. How dare they not show a scene with Kane scrubbing herself clean with gallons of blood? OK. Fine. There's one scene where she's coming out of a bath. But it's shot from a distance and you only see her back side. You see, the key to making an exploitation flick is being exploitative. This is not how it's done.Kane rushes through her female love scenes like she's got more important things to do. What could possibly be more important? She's too quick to kill her victims. Couldn't they have lingered on the love making just a bit? In fact, there wasn't really any love making, just some quick kissing scenes and then Kane went for the jugular. "Eternal" looks good, with its luxurious settings, fancy costumes and hot women, but the bloody payoff scenes are not there. It can be skipped.
