Some things I liked some I did not.

Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

I'll start by saying this: I've been on a small boat in choppy water for six hours straight without getting sick. I've been on roller coasters and rides that spin. I've seen modern action movies. I've seen extremely poorly shot found footage movies. Never once have I been sick from them.I almost threw up during this movie because of how awful the camera was. Even when people were just talking, the camera shook. During the action, the camera shook to the point where I couldn't entirely tell what I was supposed to be seeing, or even trying to look at.Even if I didn't almost get sick during the movie, I couldn't tell you what was happening because I couldn't stop screaming in my head for the cameraman to "STOP SHAKING THE DAMN CAMERA!"

This is another found footage film mixed with a bit of CSI with a bit of Usual Suspects mixed in. In a way it reminded me of the film The Task, in that something that happens later in the film renders what came before totally annoying. We being by seeing a crime scene, full of body parts and such like, and it's down to the guy out of True Blood to look through all the footage, camera phones etc, to get to the bottom of what happened etc.Flashing back, we get a Cloverfield type introduction to everyone involved, then a bit of flashing back and forth being the cops, spewing out their usual stuff about editing, and back to the found footage, that has people running around and screaming while we can't see anything (something that became really tiresome around the time of...what? Blair Witch?) I'm thinking that the old found footage genre is a bit limited, so I can't really fault that film makers for trying at least to play with folk's expectations, but then again they could have come up with at least a better conclusion! Not only is this a 'Oh, Come on!' ending, but it had me wondering why the killers even bothered in the first place. Also, the cops would have to watch the footage in exactly the order that the killers intended the cops too, which is a bit much to swallow. And where did the last clip come from? Pish. and Pish.

The film opens to an overview of a crime scene. The visuals are impressive, in a way; that is, a lot of effort was taken to produce an amateurish result. In this director's approach, good visuals have to be accompanied by plodding boredom, while shaky cam, cell phone footage, and pixelated, blurred images are where the action and interest should be kept.We segue to a police department, where the evidence has been collected and sorted to a degree. The personnel to evaluate the evidence gets picked. The investigatory group consists of Detectives Reese and Burquez, Officer Jensen, and AV specialist Gabe Wright. They set about analysing the 'found film' from Rachel's camera, plus the visuals recorded by cell phones, plus the overviews from the beginning of the film. Close consideration yields some clues for the Detectives to pursue.Amateur director Rachel likes to film 'incredibly uncomfortable things.' Indeed. Leanne is in a troubled relationship with Tyler Norris, who is a mediocre singer and less than good guitar player. Rachel decides to film Leanne 'before she was a big star.' We also have the badness of hand-held cameras. This includes horrible framing, rotten sound leveling, extraneous sounds, and large time gaps.Rachel, Leanne, Tyler, Vicki, and a young entertainer are scheduled to take a trip to Las Vegas. Though not on the passenger manifest, Katrina gets on the tour bus as well. She has a huge amount of cash on her, and might be a fugitive. When Tyler and Rachel notice that they are on a side road, Rachel goes to talk to the driver. Things go decidedly bad after that, including the bus crashing. The film progresses to the retelling of the deaths and the unveiling of the perpetrators. How does that play out? -----Scores-----Cinematography: 4/10 Shaky camera work. Stupid framing angles. Dropped frames, severe pixelation. Insufficient light, heat-damaged memory chipsSound: 4/10 Speech is mostly comprehensible, but there is plenty of raw microphone noise, such as when cell phones are dragged on the floor while recording.Acting: 2/10 Stephen Moyer had a couple of good moments in this film; Harry Lennix is his usual reliable self.Screenplay: 0/10 After watching this, I will avoid properties directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, or written by John Swetman. For a better film about lesbian criminals, see Breaking the Girls (2013), Monster (2003), or Bound (1996). The 'twist' at the end is cliché, done before and done better.

Still shot. 3D rotation. Smoke. A crime scene. Then a video camera being placed in a plastic bag marked "evidence". And you know: it's going to be one of those god damned hand-held camera movies. But you are a nice person and you hope, still, that there have to be good shaky cam films. You are, sadly, terribly so, wrong.I really like Radha Mitchell, I mean, who doesn't, but she is past her prime - time to play in those motherly roles in bad haunted house movies. Stephen Moyer, having won an undeserved fame with True Blood, plays an unnecessarily troubled police/video specialist. None of these two roles is going to give you any satisfaction in what is supposed to be a twist laden thriller. The story, which I make my best effort not to spoil - I don't know why, is basically a chaotic investigation based on a single videotape. Then there is the twist, one that you have expected the entire movie, because it can't be that easy. And it's not, and it's a stupid twist, and you will swear the day you decided to watch this film, even on fast forward. So, if there would have been true empathy with the characters - after all they did make the effort of filling the first third of the film with motivational video on how needy were the girls and how much they wanted to enter showbiz, if there would have been any interest in the police procedure - which unfortunately only concerned media statements and video processing, if the entire story didn't reek of "wait for it! the grand finale!", well... it still would have been a crappy film. As such, it is worst than boring and less than funny.Bottom line: I do this so you shouldn't have to. Respect my sacrifice and avoid this film.
