Horrible, fascist and poorly acted
Gutsycurene
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

This film tries to be funny following formula and using pretentious dialog. It is in search of a theme, which it never achieves. After a failed attempt at suicide, Dan (Tom Pelphrey) is placed in psychiatric care under Dr. Bernstein (Robert Vaughn). The movie takes on a theme of "It's a small world" when Daniel starts dating the doctors daughter (Melissa Archer), has a fling with a woman (Ewa Da Cruz) who turns out to be her friend, his parents (Wayne Knight) divorce attorney, and a lover of a man (James McCaffrey) in his support group.Christopher Lloyd plays a caricature role as a patient pretending to be a doctor. I couldn't help but not laugh and cringe at the bad writing.Parental Guide: F-bombs. Sexual situations/talk. brief male rear nudity (Tom Pelphrey) Cleavage, bra/panties.

I thought the movie was cute, funny and very entertaining.I enjoyed it. "Laura" played by Melissa Archer, was sexy, adorable and surprising! The movie seemed to come to life when she entered the scene and the interplay with her and Dan, Tom Pelphrey's character who was a hoot, was very well done! I liked Dan and I liked Laura and the two together, there just should have been more of it. I think that's my biggest complaint, I wish there was more focus on the lead character falling for the psychiatrist's daughter (who I was left wanting to know more about, who she really was),since they clicked so well chemistry wise and his time at the senior men's club. Also there seemed to be two separate stories going on, that of the attorney and the older professor and what the movie was actually about. I found that distracting and unnecessary. Saying all that, it was a perfect date night or girl's night out film. It's got a little something for everyone. Your boyfriend will thank you for dragging him along and the gals get a treat too.

Excellent film. Really enjoyed the plot. Very funny and great acting. Great cast. Tom Pelphrey and Christopher Lloyd were exceptional. Especially Tom. He is a very talented young man and hope to see him in many more movies to come. He is one of my favorites. I will be honest, he is the reason I watched the film and so happy that I did. I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much that I will be watching it again. Tom is such a good actor and can play many different roles. I first noticed him when he played Jonathan Randall in the Guiding Light. I knew then he was going to make it big in the movies someday. Such a great talent. Not many like him come around very often. I highly recommend watching this film.

A complete waste of time. No likable characters. The film is boring, unfocused and a total mess. Film is filled with attractive women, as if that would compensate for a terrible plot. The film cannot decide what this should be - a drama, a comedy? It has no funny moments, no drama, not much of a plot and surely not a developed plot. I saw this on VOD and I believe some films are dumped there to see if they could generate any buzz and/or get people to spend money in the comfort of their home before the bad buzz gets out about a film. There are some decent actors in the film, but their roles are small and has no real effect on the quality of the film. You wonder how these films get made, do they realize it's a bomb or think it's good. If they know it's a bomb, they probably just want to recoup their investment and move on. Which is what we should do - move on BEFORE seeing this mess!
