Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Married Baby Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
Jakoba True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
Pragyan Chaturvedi (kashyappk) FAN is unbelievably good. The highlight of the movie is Shah Rukh Khan, who plays both Gaurav, the obsessed FAN and Aryan Khanna, the larger than life star. SRK plays both the characters stunningly and keeps you packed on his seat for all the 2 n half hours. There definitely are loop holes, but they are highly negligible in front of SRK's acting. All the other characters are nice, but SRK is only one for whom you can watch the film. All and all, FAN is a must watch for people who admire someone and for those who not. Direction is fine, and angles of camera are insanely good. The music less film never bores you, and the idea of not adding songs to the official video of the film does not backfire. You are not going to hate it unless you a hardcore SRK hater. SRK is BACK.
Obaid Dauzai Khan Fan is an out-and-out Shah Rukh Khan show, One of the best and fine performance by world's best actor, His energetic performance steals the show,SRK proves as an actor again,The thrill of the movie is watching Shah Rukh Khan trying to one up himself. It is Shah Rukh versus Shah Rukh.the movie is outstanding in all ways.the role of Gaurav as played by Shah Rukh Khan is Awesome.relieved Darr-Baazigar-Anjaam days.Every one from Bollywood praised srk for the role he has don.no doubt why he is baadshah of Bollywood.his acting is superb. With his years of practice, SRK aces this role with ease. We see film stars making appearances at wedding parties or ready to do anything as long as they are getting paid. Aryan Khanna is no exception. He is humiliated in the process, but also understands the value of his stardom. Self-deprecating humour and honesty is what makes Aryan Khanna a character to watch out for
Radu_A There's a ton of reviews on this one, as a non-Indian who gets to watch a decent amount of Bollywood I agree with the mainstream view here that "Fan" is a decent thriller with a return of SRK to old form after a few lackluster movies.Quite a few reviews here claim that this is a remake of 1996's "The Fan" starring Robert De Niro as the obsessed fan of a baseball star played by Wesley Snipes. This is simply not true. There is no hint of identity theft in that film (but family theft, yes). This is the crucial element here so the comparison is completely off the mark.It is, however, justified to say that this kind of story has been done many, many times, as in the rather gory "Fan" of 1981 starring Lauren Bacall and Michael Biehn or the similar German "Trance" (1982). I found myself waiting in vain for any surprises, even though SRK's performance makes it worth to watch. It is also true, as some reviewers have pointed out, that the settings make some plot elements unrealistic. For instance, you cannot wear a hood in London's attractions, let alone a gun. The entire city is under CCTV surveillance so jogging with a hood will alarm police. To use Blenheim Palace, a well-known historical landmark and birthplace of Winston Churchill, as a private residence of an Indian mogul located in Dubrovnik, makes this movie a bit ridiculous to Europeans and may have harmed its marketability. It's fine to set a chase scene in Dubrovnik, a very beautiful city, but it stretches just about any credibility when you have SRK start to give chase outside of a huge English palace and then cut straight to the rooftops of a medieval Mediterranean port. That's kinda like have him step out of the Taj Mahal and run down the streets of Shimla. So it's not a disappointing film, just the script is rather lazy and one would have expected a surprise turn of events, like Aryan realizing that his crazed fan is actually his schizoid other self. SRK could have pulled that off. There's a lot of build-up petering out to nowhere.
ronibravosinha so fan is one of the most anticipated movie of shah rukh khan of 2016.After dilwale,HNY and CE, SRK stepped out of his comfort zone and carved out his best-FAN.FAN is an irrational thriller ,diffrent from other typical Bollywood masala, having no lead actress,no songs no marketing because of which it fails to make an impact on box office despite having SRK on cards.Action, drama, emotion and fandom-this is your 150 minute of experience.Fan is an emotional roller-coaster which ends up with tears in eyes for Fan.Watch it if you like Hollywood type no song ,intense story great acting, srk deserves a filmfare for this.Film has some flaws but can be ignored as Srk overshadows all flaws with his acting skills, the vfx team did excellent job and the make-up man-Greg canom did excellent with his creativity of gaurav's physique and face
