SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Senteur As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Claire Dunne One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
OllieSuave-007 This is a fantasy comedy from Hong Kong about a wizard who is summoned in 1960s Hong Kong by a trio of bumbling detectives to do their bidding.Ching Wan Lau, Louis Koo and Jordan Chan stars as the three detectives and that all spoof the personalities of HK legends Michael Hui, Ricky Hui and Sam Hui. Ching wan and Jordan were spot-on as Michael and Ricky, matching their gestures and dialog. Louis did an OK job as Sam, but the medley he sang was a good tribute to Sam.The wizard, played by Cecilia Cheung, takes on a Harry Potter-like approach, and Francis Ng spoofs the great Kieh Shih. The movie also spoofs a number of Hong Kong and Hollywood films - a treat you will find pretty entertaining. There is really no main plot in the movie, just various subplots mash into one movie, but they all follow the main character leads. It's pretty fun with silly romance, laugh-out-loud humor (Christy Chung's characters was my favorite) and slapstick action. Worth watching.Grade B
