Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
Dorathen Better Late Then Never
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
zif ofoz Fiona Allen, Sophie Thompson make it work! This is just a silly sassy slapstick scatological comedy and it does just that! Fat Slags off-color humor is delightful, the girls Sandra & Tracy are a hoot to watch and follow through their 'Londun' found fame. The two guys that play the boyfriends are a riot to listen too.Dirty nasty and self indulgence - with stupid funny comic like characters - I ask you, "What's not to like?" It has the lower end of "Ab Fab" all over it and "Ab Fab" was an international hit.So 'good' for Ed Bye. I enjoyed these crazy fat b*tch*s and I'm sorry it took me 11 years to find it. UGH!
davies1 By Far the best Movie I have ever seen in my life. Yes - I agree that you may think its hard to believe that a film about a pair of slugs could be as riveting as a Big Brother Eviction night and yet, this film pulls it off magnificently. When would you ever see a pair of slugs crawling through a rain poured desolate life and to tell a tale above all without prejudice/salt or humour. I think that this film portrayed Slugs in a a very dignified manner and that slugs should be more respected in society. They should not just be stepped on, but given full potential to live a useful life and be given the same longevity as the rest of us as well as be given the same opportunities as us - humans.I think the lead in the move played particularly well and portrayed a fat Slug very well - Charactericatly played by with subtle movement and a bit of wobbling.Looking forward to the Sequel "Fat Slugs sleeping in Seattle".
c-haidt I watched this movie with my brother recently, both of us having grown up with the Viz magazine....and you know what? We sort of liked it.Fine - the plot is standard and the jokes are usually crude and predictable, but there are moments where the other characters just shine. Anthony Head delivers a very strong performance as the evil assistant, Geri Halliwell was surprisingly *good* in her scenes, and seeing Dolph Lundgren as the personal trainer was good too.Don't get me wrong - the movie is still bad, but it's the bad that you can enjoy since it's SO bad it's funny. Light entertainment, watch it with friends for a couple of laughs and a session of ripping on the movie while it runs.Watch it. Go on, I dare you!
Wanderland I got tickets to see a preview of this film and being a fan of the Viz strip took them up on the chance (well .. all 15 minutes of it) i had to leave, it was shocking! I dread to think what people will feel if THEY pay to see this rubbish! The body suits that the actors wear are shockingly made, it's like this is a sketch for some TV series gone wrong! At 76 minutes too i imagine the film makers know this and have kept the running time to a minimum so as not to offend viewers even more! Also the fact that GERI HALLIWELL is billed as one of the stars of this film is such a laugh, she isn't even an actress and she appears briefly in the film - hardly worthy of a credit!
