if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

This film gives me hope for the future, mainly that there might be a way us to fix the problems of the past, and create a more equitable future.Through numerous interviews with renowned women Femme gives insight into how the world is changing for the better. By women asserting themselves more the balance of the world is being tilted towards the positive again. This means that war, economic desparity, and inequality will start to erode. The film does not let men of the hook (I'll admit at times I felt ashamed for my gender's past), but ultimately the message is hopeful. Both genders have an integral role to play in the planet's healing, that is the films inspiring message!

In the world of documentary film making, subject is of the up most importance, and in the case of Femme, the subject is the empowerment of women. A thorough, gripping, and deep subject. The film made me realize that as a society we have helped to bring down the perceived importance of women. Femmme has also helped me to respect my mother and girlfriend even more. This film is a movement, an attempt to transform and heal our society through documentary film making. Sharon Stone and others explore the depth and cultural weight of the empowerment of women through interviews with experts in religion, science, sociology and entertainment.

An insipid 90-minute documentary about how women have the inner strength to make the world a better place. I absolutely agree with the premise, but so many of the women interviewed come off as silly that the film's point is almost entirely negated. The filmmakers do use clips from some intelligent and influential women. But all too many of the interviewees are over-made-up Hollywood actresses, yoga teachers and so-called life coaches with absolutely nothing intelligent to say. It doesn't help that the documentary is sprinkled with strange stock clips from the '50s or that motivational author Marianne Williamson is the film's principal voice. I'm a committed feminist, but I found this imbecilic movie painful to watch.

I saw this film, but it was more than going to watch a movie it was more like experiencing an event. This film is about celebrating women around the world. It mentions how women are often more communal and nurturing than men. It gives a message to women, it is up to us to lead the world into peace and prosperity. When this movie was over I felt inspired and hopeful. I felt empowered. If you are feeling low and need to feel good, definitely watch this movie. It gives you hope for the future. If you have children it makes you feel good knowing that our children will live in a better world. I recommend this film for both women and men and young people too.
