Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Celia A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Gok Han I have read other reviews about the film. Well, we cannot claim that it's the best movie ever, it's understandable but It's not possible to understand how some people reviewed it as a bad or low quality movie!! Probably, they had some jealousy issues with the director or some of the actors playing in the movie.. The film is simple, but so beautiful. It's not a complicated story to understand, but simplicity makes it so nice to watch. Until the last minute you don't know how the film's gonna end. A nice romantic, love movie that contains some humors also. Highly recommended! If you like love movies that tells some impossible love stories you will like for sure!
Vihren Mitev I would wrote about a film (with few exceptions) if he is not worth watching. This is a blog where you can surely find something to watch, rather than read about some bad title. Perhaps highly inflated rating, maybe familiar storyline and main topic - I will explain this. Film recommended to me by my mysterious friend who I had the joy to see only once in my life.Extremely simple film, Turkish (bravo to the Turks), with bold methods on moments, incredible performance and deployment of the story. Film that inspires and makes you follow every moment because later it turns out that it is a piece of the puzzle of the whole picture.Incredibly cute main female character with incredibly sad fate. Film, of course, about love, about how to import creativity in your life, turning it into such. About rarity of the real things in life. With the message of our relation to others nearby, especially the balance between them and our ego. This movie is not light, but it is very good. And do not forget - good things still happen, though not in an ideal way. Enjoy watching!http://vihrenmitevmovies.blogspot.com/
orontes "Incir receli" is not a good film and I'm surprised to see that so many people have thought of this film as one of the best in Turkish cinema. I'm seriously disappointed. The main problem is that neither the characters nor the storyline are well developed. The plot is simple and I usually like movies built on simple ideas. However, in this one, the simple idea is not well-crafted as to present well-developed characters and relationships. The movie intends to tell a love story but the dialogues and the events that follow each other don't really build up a strong love relationship. One constantly needs to assume that their love is really intense without actually knowing how they have come to have such an intense relationship. The characters and their relationships are much more superficial than the director has intended to present. One thing that I liked about the movie is that it has beautiful scenes. The movie was sort of like a collection of beautiful photographs for me. Some of them reminded me of other movies or photographs, others were quite original. It's also nice to see that Istanbul is becoming a stage for more and more movies, inspiring more and more original shots.
Alabumba S Well, before I start criticizing, I should say that I am sick of seeing films which take place in Turkish villages, inner parts of Turkey etc; therefore, I believe that these "contemporary" films should be supported. However, this film, "incir receli", is simply just not good. It is sexist, unrealistic (fantastic even), way too theatrical with below average acting. It is hard not to be angry really; what now, film says the man had the right to be furious with the girl if the "dying" man was her "former" boyfriend! Also, the "fake" drunk acting was abysmal; lines were "cheesy". Only consolation is that this film would turn in to an average film if it was a musical.
