On their way home from a high school football game, five teenage girls become hopelessly lost. When they stop to get directions at a desolate store, the girls are involved in a minor fender bender which leaves an unattended SUV one headlight short. Inexperienced and frightened that they'll get into trouble, the girls flee the scene of the accident and speed away down the dark and unfamiliar roads. As they blindly make their way across an area the locals call THE EYES, the girls are suddenly shocked to see one lone headlight appear behind them. As the driver of the damaged SUV begins one terrifying assault after another, the five girls will lose their innocence and possibly their lives in this brutal and shocking thrill ride.

Borgarkeri A bit overrated, but still an amazing film
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
CapnKaos This is something on par which a high school student would come up with. It's cheaply made, the dialogue is bad, the acting is sub par, there's tons of shaky cam action, there's no character development and there's no actual plot. It's really not so much a movie as it's just a bunch of scenes that are filmed. The movie tries to be suspenseful as a mini-van carrying six girls is being chased along a dark country road by a crazy person in an SUV. That's it. This is 90 minutes that you won't get back. This isn't even a movie that is "so bad it's good". It's just... bad without any redeeming qualities. Please give this one a pass and go for something else.
nrabond007 I have been thinking for weeks on end of how exactly to review this abomination. Can I say anything positive? No. Is there a unique and interesting plot? No, whining teenage girls lost along the interstate get chased by a psycho for no apparent reason. Are the characters fun and interesting? No. The main characters are a bunch of teenage girls whining, crying and throwing up. Do we give a darn if they live or die? Yes, we just want them to die or to shut up, whichever comes first. Is the villain and/or heroine convincing and likable/hate-able? Its actually in reverse, the villain is more likable due to the fact that her non-purpose is larger than the main characters' non-purpose. Fact of the matter is the more time you spend with the main characters in this film, the more you hope they die a horrible death and that the bad girl wins. Is the cinematography and editing worthwhile and does it tell a story? No. The cams are extremely shaky and in a blair witch style when they don't need to be. The film is grainy at best and the camera work will make you physically ill if it does not drive you into a psychotic rage first. Does it manage to accomplish its goal as a horror film? No, it manages to make you sick, dizzy and disgusted and some parts will have you looking at the screen with a blank stare and wondering why you are even watching it and what were the characters trying to accomplish there. What is the scariest scene? When one of our main characters goes monkey-style, poops in her hand and throws it out the window at the psycho lady's car (yes, I am serious). I could keep going, but I fear I will get "ring" effect and die seven days later for even discussing this film. I hope it was a good read for you all. Sincerely, The Genre Junkie
disdressed12 i gotta say this is one of the worst movie i have seen.may not be the worst, but probably top three.it doesn't really make a lot of sense, and it's actually quite perverse, just for the sake of being perverse,in my opinion.a lot of it also just a bunch of random chaos and noise.it's also very repetitive and,for me at least,i found it boring.plus, the reaction of the character don't ring true.i don't believe that someone who went through the same thing in real life would react that way.i watched all the way through, though i wish i hadn't.it's basically 90 odd minutes gone down the drain.it's inexplicable to me how anyone could enjoy this movie, but everybody has their own taste.i hated it,but that's me.for me,Five Across the Eyes is a 0/10
temp-181 I can't believe this is on DVD. Even less it was available at my local video store. Some argue this is a good movie if you take in consideration it had only a 4000$ budget. I find this funny. I would find it very bad whichever the budget.Still more funny, I read the following in another review: "Dramatics aside, if you love horror and you love something along the lines of Duel (1971) updated with a little more story and some pretty girls thrown in, you'll love this movie."What?!? This is a shame comparing those two movies.I give a "1", since I can't give a "0". I just don't see any way this movie could be entertaining.
