ScoobyMint Disappointment for a huge fan!
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
James Farmer What a truly abysmal film this is.The plot is a great idea in principle, but dreadful acting performances and dire story line make this one of those films that makes you think why the hell did I sit through this rubbish until the end.Just a few examples; a Boeing 757 commercial jet outmanoeuvres a world war 2 fighter plane. The same 757 is impervious to bullets from several fighter planes and rockets. The action scenes are comically poor. A plane that holds 170 passengers seems to carry only 20.I can't figure why some reviewers on here actually think the film is good, there is nothing good in the whole 88 minutes, except maybe when the credits roll and it's finally finished.Utter rubbish, don't waste your time.
dennisgcarrier If you're thinking about watching this movie, stop thinking. You'd be doing better for yourself by punching yourself in the groin. It's a real stinker. Acting, directing, effects, camera work, historical accuracy, it's all bad. The worst part is they're all stuck in that plane and the movie is centered there. You get claustrophobia yourself in empathy. Passengers were jockeying in their seats to simulate movement of the plane and their motions looked so fake it was ludicrous. They did that simulation better in 1966 on Star Trek. It's supposed to be 1940 and two ME-262 German Aircraft attack. Run on kerosene and packing two jet engines, this aircraft could keep up with a jet airliner. It could only stay in the air a few minutes, but was the fastest plane around and packed a wallop from two 20MM cannons. The only problem is that this aircraft was not in action until late in the war.
Enrique Sanchez Forget all the naysayers who have NOTHING to say except the planes were not accurate or this plot line or that plot line should have not have been used, or should have been expanded upon. Let them write and finance their own movies, and we'll see.Apparently, a lot of people who think they should be in the movie business are clearly SUPERIOR to the rest of us. Let them scream in horror.THIS was a fun movie, full of tense moments and intriguing ideas that were delivered quite well to my eyes and mind. Maybe I am into mawkishness as another reviewer derided. I plainly do NOT care. This movie was an interesting ride and never wallowed in sweetness or pointless tangents that were not crucial to the story at hand.I recommend it highly to anyone who has not sunk in the mire of superciliousness in their own jaded lives.
james-203-429510 As a concept I thought it was very creative, but let down by amateur script and direction. Things happen that do not advance the story, and a shed load of what you think are sub-plots end up as pointless dead-ends. the lost plane faces Nazi planes powered by jet engine and even face numerous surface-to-air missiles. The explanation for this anachronism is non- satisfactory and again is never touched on again once explained. The acting is mixed. There are in fact some very good actors, but there are some real shockers too. the concept was interesting to me, as I love time travel movies, but this one was a corker, with more holes in it than the plane at the end of the movie. Avoid.
