It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Lidia Draper
Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Cody
One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.

Almost predicting the dating show craze, some fifteen years before it happened, this TV movie was a game show, where contestants Pleshette and Girard, with the help of cheesy emcee Farr are placed in isolation booths and put through a series of quizzes, to test the compatibility of the pair and to see if the couple will fall in love. When not on the set, they are living in a home together, so they can learn more about each other, which they must use on the "televised" portion of the program. At the end of the contest they have a choice: get married, or claim the big cash prize and never see each other again. The couple makes a plan to strictly go for the money, but as the episodes and the weeks go by, they start to develop feelings for each other. Will they stick to their plan, or go with their hearts?
