Matrixston Wow! Such a good movie.
Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Married Baby Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
littledude-29985 There was way too much singing, and the songs were just terrible i do not recommend watching this. The songs are way too repetitive it was so annoying.
lanicorn This movie is trying too hard to be politically correct. For starters the overweight black girl is the mean girl , the main character looks like a lesbian who's main love interest is an Asian and the main characters mom is marrying a black man. Not that there us anything wrong with that. But they are trying too hard. Not to mention the horrible music. This is an all around corny movie don't waste your time watching it
mgm-28366 I've seen the original and the remake (2003) and I hadn't even heard of there being a new one, until my (9yr old) godson told me about it! I was a bit iffy about it, but I figured I'd give it a shot! I'll will say it started out good....and then boom they hit you with a song out of nowhere, I was like wait is this gonna be a musical?. I'm like hmm idk if that fits this movie but I figured I LOVE musicals so why not! Well because it was terrible....WORST Musical ever!! The songs were too long and just boring and all sounded the same. i juts kept wanting them to stop singing and continue with the story which wasn't that great either ( a hunt? What even is that..stupid) my godson even said that he liked the 2003 version better (I made him watch it before this one) I will say this much though the movie could have been a decent one if it weren't for the music! And I can't believe I'm saying that! Anyway I NEVER write reviews but for this I had too! Like wow Disney juts wow!
betyouarejunk I have seen 3 of the 4 versions of Freaky Friday. I have never seen the original with Jodie Foster. I saw the commercials for this and though it looked not so great I wanted to watch it just to have watched it. There was no warning that it was a musical but it did hint to poor acting, especially the scene with Ellie biting her nail at the dining table. I also felt that her appearance was too bland for a movie. Kids want to relate but they also want to look up to the characters and Cozie's character was blah. In the movie itself she acts like a petulant child more than a teenager and the mother acting as the daughter was even worse and completely not believable that it was a 15 year old girl. The beginning shows the mother smelling her clothes and commenting that she wore something the day before. She raised an utter pig. That is not "teenager behavior." It's being a lazy pig if yo7u have clothes and a washer. The singing was AWFUL. The lyrics were horrible, the singing was horrible, and the lip singing was horrible. The cringiest was where the mother in the daughter's body had a crush on a 15 year old boy. Not appropriate Disney! She still had the mind of an adult and was about to get married. This was pedophilia.
